Important Games; Newcastle 2-2 Safc Sunderland 2-2 Arsenal Chelsea 1-0 Safc Safc 1-3 Man You Liverpool 2-1 Safc Hull 1-5 Safc Bristol City 1-7 Safc Safc 0-0 Scumcastle AND!!!!!! Arsenal vs. Safc 4 mins in and Eddie sends Michael through, and he scores, Johnsons combine well. 11 mins in and roles reversed, 2-0 Adebayor scores sometime 75th min and McShane drags Vela to the floor, hmm ten men, I'll go on the counter I think to myself. 3 minutes later and MJ's header is saved, rebound by EJ, 3-1. BlackCats Rule Posted November 1, 2007 Share Posted November 1, 2007 you won't be able to get a keeper to join you who is as good let alone better than gordon at start of ur 2nd season. and if you even contemplating selling gordon at least get 30mill plus, possible decent keeprs include: Boruc Ustari De sanctis (sometimes free or cheap seocnd season) Marco Amelia any of them should go to sunderland but gordon is probably better by quite a long way. ;-) improve you defenders is a good thing to do tho cos for me only mcshane is that good, anderson still plays but i bought breno in from sao paulo. ive also signed bojinov for upfront, and got pippo inzaghi on season loan (second season) i wouldn't dream of selling gordon for less than 40 mill persoanlly. Pompey enquire, 100mil, 50% add on. They withdraw, Arsenal make 35 mil bid, Quinn accepts! I'm gonna go after Ustari but come on! Quinn would not intervene like that! Anyway, I managed to come 9th in the table after losing 2 of my last 14 games. Notable victories include a 2-0 Victory over Man utd and 2 1-1 draws with Arsenal. Summer signings: Theo Wallcott for 5mill (found him lurking in Arsenal reserves lucky me.) Eddie Johnson from the championship for 5mill been banging in the golas for me. Flamini from Arsenal spent last season on Loan with me (alot of the players have in their notes think he will be a quality player guess this is a very good thing?) Got a few problems firstly Billy jones who i got from Crewe ( if you havnt signed him do so hes currently keeping gerrard out of the England squad.) He is unsettled cause many clubs are bidding for him so should i just sell him for alot or is there any way and i can keep him and make him happy? Also Stokes Doudin (pro Swiz yougnster) and Eddie Johnson are my current main goalscorers, they seem to miss loads of chances and i mean as much as 4 one on ones with the keeper a match but i normally get at least 1-2 goals is this just a bug or shud i look at replacing them?
