danm2501
Name: Enzo Roco Age: 22 Nationality: Chilean Club: Espanyol Position: CB Value: £3.2m Sale Value: £6.25m - £8.25m (I had a bid of £7m accepted straight away) Work Permit Needed?: Yes, but should be approved Top Physicals for a young player, he's reasonably quick, immensely strong and has very good stamina. He's also an excellent header of the ball (with good jumping), and has 16 ratings for marking and tackling. He seems to be a very well rounded young centre back who has solid potential to improve further. Also, with a potential sale value of <£10m he could be a top buy for any top division club. The absolute maximum he's going to cost is £13.75m due to his release clause, so looks a very good buy for a top club in need of a solid young defender. samdiatmh
Name: Mayke Position: DR/WBR Age: 22 Club: Cruzerio Nationality: Brazil Sale Value: 4.4m Wages: 26k per week (can be more depending on interest) Work Permit: Gets it Other: I really like this guy after my FM15 save, and he's no different on FM16. I actually bought him in as my replacement for Lichtsteiner, and I don't regret it - he's basically my first name on the teamsheet Name: Eder Balanta Position: DLC Club: River Plate Nationality: Colombia Sale Value: 2.9m Wages: 12k per week Work Permit: Gets it Other: Do I really need to sell this guy? He got a massive nerf after FM15, he's basically at peak now. Coaches rate him similarly to Gabriel (from Arsenal), although can be injury prone. Might not be reliable enough to start consistently in the prem, but should be a capable backup for top teams

clokey1988
Name: Marc BartraClub: DRC Nationality: Spanish Sale Value: £8million! Wages: 60k plus Work Permit: no Other: Min Release fee of just £8million... Must buy for all top 4 sides. I was doing a test save with Man City and tried signing him. He accepted Barcelona's offer of a new contract, and even when I tried reloading an earlier save and offering him higher wages than Barca had offered he still turned me down. You might have to get silly on the wage offerings to lure him which would somewhat negate the money saving clause. Although you could probably sell him for a huge profit in next couple of transfer windows regardless of wages if you did manage to attract him... clokey1988
Name: Emanuel Mammana Age: 19 Nationality: Argentinean Club: River Position: DC (Competent at DR too) Value: Can't remember but I think it is about £2 million at game start. Sale Value: I got him for £4.8 million, most of which was spread over 36 months. Scouts thought I could have got him a bit cheaper, so presumably if you offer up front you might get him for less. Work Permit Needed?: Yes, but he gets it on the first try. Last year he was a -9 PA , and he seems to be the same this season judging by scout reports. I signed him for Man City and sent him out on loan to Crystal Palace, who made him an important first team player. Given the relatively low cost and wages, he'd be a great signing for just about any top division club that can attract him. ---------------------------------------------------- Name: Ludwig Augustinsson Age: 21 Nationality: Swedish Club: FC Kobenhavn Position: DL/WBL/ML Value: £1.8 million Sale Value: Haven't tried yet, although scouts thought he'd be available for between £1.8m and £3.5m with wage demands of £20,000-£40,000 per week. Work Permit Needed?: Nope. Scouts gave him 3.5 star potential with Man City. I doubt he'll be world class but he looks very solid for the money required, a decent first season investment for most top flight clubs even if just as a profit turner. ---------------------------------------------------- Name: Reece Oxford Age: 16 Nationality: English Club: West Ham Position: DC/DM Value: £500k ish Sale Value: He's available for £1.1m compensation at game start as he is only on a youth deal. Work Permit Needed?: Nope. Scouts absolutely raved about his potential with Man City so I'm going to guess that he's a -9 PA . Good luck getting him to sign though - he rejected £5k per week plus insane bonuses with Man City in favour of a £850 per week contract with West Ham on my save! Worth keeping an eye on his development though.

samdiatmh
Anyone seen a decent teenage CB for under a few million? A Bastioni (Atalanta) for 500k (or that much in compensation) seems more of a left back, but can play at DC or if not managing in the UK (because he doesn't get a WP) S Vegas from Audax (2.1m, similar PA to Mertesacker)

Rowley reckons he has room to improve (despite being close to maxed on stars). Edit: His anticipation is 10 btw. Name: Ionut Nedelceanu Age: 18 Nationality: Romanian Club: Dinamo Bucharest Position: DC/DMC Value: £58k Sale Value: Around £200k Work Permit Needed?: No Notes: Promising, tall centre-back who could also make a good half-back. slakey
I've been really impressed with these 2 young defenders on my Wolves save. Name: Kortney Hause Age: 20 Nationality: English Club: Wolverhampton Wanderers Position: DC/LB Value: £4.9M (for me at the minute, 6 games in) Sale Value: I would guess you could maybe get him for £6-£7mil? Work Permit Needed?: Nope. Name: Dominic Iorfa Age: 20 Nationality: English Club: Wolverhampton Wanderers Position: DC/RB Value: £3.6M (for me at the minute, 3 games in) Sale Value: I would guess you could maybe get him for £6-£7mil? Welshace
Using Iorfa first season at Newcastle in rotation with Peruzzi, but honestly, Iorfa is pretty much performing every time I put him in at RB or CB so will be a key starter second season I'm sure. PleasedToMichu
Random question, but does anyone have any experience of David Limbersky on FM16? 32, currently playing at Viktoria Plzen. I'm Stoke and my scouts are going wild for him, telling me to sign at any cost. All the right stats in the all the right places, and in January of season 1 you can sign him on a Bosman, so i did. Just wondered if anyone had used him in this version as i'm hoping he can give me 2 solid seasons at left back (starting or cover, depends who i manage to sign in the off season). Welshace
Not had him in fm16 but in previous editions Limbersky was solid if not spectacular. If I remember right, he is quite attacking no? has he got decent enough defensive stats?

Iorfa I played as left sided CB (Batth on right side) and he finished the season with 6 goals, 2 assists and an average rating of 7.24 from 37 games.
