According to Whoscored (Premier League tackles / game) there's about 20 tackles / game / team in English Premier League. Here's tackling stats for my last 5 games (I'm playing HJK in Finnish Premier League): RoPS - HJK: 110 vs. 59 (that's over 1 tackle / minute for RoPS. RoPS player Mostagh Yaghoubi had 35 tackles) HJK - KTP: 44 vs. 87 Red Bull Salzburg - HJK: 35 vs. 62 (this was Champions League qualifications playoff stage) Jaro - HJK: 88 vs. 28 HJK - Red Bull Salzburg: 80 vs. 63 (UCL) I don't know what kind of actions game counts as a tackle but according to these stats there is nothing but tackling all the time. Because the match engine can't properly replicate stuff like shoulder charges etc, all 'challenges' are counted as 'tackles' in-game.
