So Feyenoord are their closest rivals (but have struggled recently from what I could see on Wikipedia) but PSV are the stronger threat to Ajax I assume? Butts Posted October 2, 2015 Share Posted October 2, 2015 Currently playing as Ajax first season I brought in Gaston Gil Romero(8m), Lucas Romero(13m) and Eder Balanta(13m) and sold Serero for 7.5m as well as Sigthorsson for 7.25m. Won the league comfortably and made the CL quarters so I was happy with that. Second season I sold Schone for 18m and Lucas Romero for 45m, these were replaced by Giuliano(8m)/Thorgan Hazard(loan with 4m future fee) and Verratti(18m)/Kranevitter(4m). I also added Nelson Oliveira to the squad from Benfica in exchange for Niklas Moisander as well as Borek Dockal from Sparta Prague for 2.2m. Despite our net profit on transfers I think our squad looks stronger with a lot more strength in depth. Had 2 brilliant 16 year olds come through the youth set up too so have put them into the squad. One is a centre-half so hasn't had much game time but the other who is a left winger tends to get 15/20 mins a game if we are winning comfortably.
