hoddle1404
Apologies if anyone has asked this question before. What is exactly the instruction 'Get Further Forward'? Does it instruct a player move into an attacking space vertically or does it means making attacking runs to seek a through ball? And what effect does it have on a attack and support duty player? peleJunior
Well since some penetrating running attacking roles have this option I'm going to guess that it sets his " mentality" to be more aggressive than what is usual for the role.

Yep, this is correct.
bigwoody
I'll add some anecdotes to this, the mentality understanding is correct though. - I have a CM who I want to play mostly a support role, but make more forward runs. Telling him to "Get Further Forward" didn't accomplish this. - I have two inside forwards with attack duty who I wanted to make more forward runs to try and break high lines. Adding "Get Further Forward" DID accomplish this! It makes sense if you read the mentality/duty guide.
