Graphics and Unique IDs

Hi all,

I have a question about what exactly causes unique id's to change?

After installing a number of add-on league and creating my own fantasy nation and leagues the unique id's for these fantasy teams have now changed from what they were on different save games even though the database file set-up is the same.

Any ideas what may be causing this as it makes no sense as to why its changed?

ID's for created items change because it is impossible to ensure every user created new item is given it's own ID. For example if you created a new club and then I created a new club there is no way for my version of the game to know what ID has been used for your team before assigning an ID to my team.

The game then reads the contents of the new items when starting a new game and at this point the items are assigned ID's for that game, it's possible if everything is identical between two save games the created IDs may be the same, but for more details about that you are best asking in the editors forum.
