CaptainPlanet
Are they going to make an appearance at every single game?

HUNT3R
I hope not. It was terrible having to watch our World Cup in 2010 with them and even worse in the stadium when I went to a game.
PMLF
FIFA have not allowed the 'Brazilian vuvuzela', called the 'caxirola', to be brought to games. They have apparently also not liked that fans here brought caxirolas to throw them on the pitch when their teams underperform.

SI Staff Jeroen Thijssen Posted June 5, 2014 SI Staff Share Posted June 5, 2014 We need an obligatory idiot blowing the Vuvuzela in the next man 's ears - only to have it rammed up his arse sideways.

daylight
They ruined the World Cup for me, switched off a few games as I just could not take it. Tried to watch the game while listening to music but just wasn't the same, simply awful things.

Worcester City Researcher
Thankfully - a US TV station has found a really decent thing for them to do
Confused Clarity
If people genuinely found the world cup "ruined" for them last time around because of the Vuvuzela's and actually turned the TV off to stop watching games because of them, then I have no words to describe what utter dipshits they are. JD nawrat
Woah, agreeing with a Carter post here I like the Vuvuzelas tbh. Not even sure what was annoying about them. No different to hearing drums banging in the background which you often get at international games. even becoming popular at club grounds around Britain now... aiston
Rather have a constant Vuvuzela to block out the ITV commentary.

People banging drumkits at games are muppets too and should receive stadiumbans. Right up there with vuvuzelas.
Confused Clarity
I Didn't actually like the Vuvuzelas and I did find them irritating at times, but they largely became background noise rather quickly & in no way ruined my enjoyment.
SI Staff Jeroen Thijssen Posted June 8, 2014 SI Staff Share Posted June 8, 2014 To be fair, they are a nuisance, but on tv (never heard or seen them live, thankfully!) - they definitely did not enforce me not to watch any games.

I don't know, you seemed to have put your point across. Sorry but I did switch off 3 or 4 games as it just became too much. Watching 2 games a day and that constant noise just got to me, maybe you were able to block it out more than me, the more I tried to block it out the more I seemed to focus on it.
