A 90+2 minute penalty in a 4-0 win against Bournemouth. While cup goal keeper Matt Turner had his first penalty attempt of his career saved. In our FA Cup 3rd round tie against Cambridge Utd. We were leading 1-0 at the time. And went on to win 2-0. So while I am dipping my toes in the water of my goalkeepers taking penalties. Don't think there was anything in his body language. But He wasn't happy about his play time. I'd been treating him with kid gloves as he's my best defensive midfield player by a country mile. But with the Qatar dog and pony show. Plus no idea when the African cup of nations is / was going to be held. For what it's worth, ignore penalty attributes and pick the happiest player before the game, but also think about personality. A Professional player is not going to suffer the in game morale drops that others suffer from, (and to a lesser degree a Determined player), but prioritise these players over other. Happy. My current contender is Muhammad Bamidele 26g. Now, I don't think he will break any records, but he is well on his way to doing a good job. So far his total number is 27. 26 league goals and 1 in a cup. A GK scoring 2 goals in a match is a really big deal. 2 different GK's each scoring a goal on the same day for the same club seems a ridiculous think to say. The idea that 1 GK could score a hat-trick for the 1st Team in the Liga Portugal Bwin on the same day that another GK at the same club scores a hat-trick for the B Team in the Liga Portugal 2 SABSEG is mind-blowing, but it's happened. (31a) Fernando may have "only" scored 7 goals this season, but when you consider we were battling relegation in the top flight this season and he scored 7 goals, but only scored 12 goals last season in LaLiga2 as we got promoted, it perhaps suggests that in the grand scheme of things he might actually have done better this season. After scoring 22, 24, 23, & 19 goals in his previous seasons, (32g) Kadriu 6'1" scored 27 goals in all competitions in the 2042/43 season. But since then he's scored at a really decent rate. 22 goals in 2038/39. 24 goals in 2039/40. 23 goals in 2040/41. 19 goals in 2041/42. 27 goals in 2042/43. 27 goals in 2043/44. 25 goals in 2044/45. 13 goals so far in 2045/46 for 180 career goals. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
