My favourite of the 3 penalties he scored this month, freezing the opposing keeper as he gets a good bounce off the post. We are onto the 27-28 season now, he finished last season with 16 goals, made of 14 from 16 penalties, and two free kicks. An early miss this season, but he's been on target since for 3 from 4. A curling monster for his first of the month. Another curling monster for his second of the month. His third came in the same game as the second, this would give the keeper nightmares as he starts to go the wrong way. Rounded out the month with his 50th career penalty. Has had a few misses this season, but still reached double figures again. He's been unsuccessful 6 times from the spot this season, (because he wants a new contract and I don't want to give him one), and my plan, (now that he's hit the 100 mark), is to try and sell him and start someone else, (either (31g) Simões (POR) 6'1" * or (35b) Amílcar (POR) 6'1" *). 2 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Jordan Jack scored a brace in our latest match against Cambridge, to take his career total to the magical century mark. Goal 99, his 76th career penalty freezes the opposing keeper. Keeping him happy seems to be easy, but he misses when he struggles to connect with another member of the squad, (missing penalties as a result). Frustratingly they don't even have to be in the match squad never mind about actually on the pitch, and it's something I'm struggling to overcome. If he stays fit then he has a chance of reaching the 176 goal mark, (which is my record), but he has had some torrid spells from the spot recently and you might notice that his success rate from the spot is down at 76% now over his career when it was holding at 84%-85% for a long time. Would obviously have preferred him to keep going for another season and see out his contract, but I can't complain about 167 career goals. Interesting that his biography says that he has only made 488 league appearances when he has made 518 appearances, (although 28 of them were made while out on loan and 2 more were for the B Team), and it's these appearances that haven't been counted. I will have to go and report that. It's only a tiny thing but it's not right. He didn't surpass the Lucio record of 176 career goals, but if anything his achievements are even more spectacular because he was playing for a less dominant team than that FM14 San Marino side.
