Dimony
Little request and fairly simple: Every year we have great player made data updates with only one real weakness: we can't implement points deductions or take them off. Would be nice if they weren't hard coded next time around.
weeeman27bob
I think that would be a good idea. Apart from it making Luton properly manageable you could also have a handicap league where the better teams start on less points.
rougess
I think that would be a good idea. Apart from it making Luton properly manageable you could also have a handicap league where the better teams start on less points. that would be awesome, each season the team the finished 1st could have -20, and the bottom team (ie lowest finishing promoted team) could have +20, and it works down so 10th and 11th have -2 and +2 respectively. it would make mid table finishes more tactical at the end of the season
glamdring
FM is about realism. Those points deductions (subject in some cases to appeals) are what are there for the season in question so it makes sense for the first season's deductions to be hard coded in. Chris Ritchie
I like the handicap league idea.
Kees04
To elaborate even further wills, you could have each team start with a minus number of points equal to what they finished on the season before. That way you can see who's improved and who's underachieved.

backpackant
Yes, SI should definitely do this. That way we can just buy the game we like once (say FM07) and keep installing weegie updates and never have to buy another version as long as we're happy with the one we have. Excellent.
