dafuge
Caersws - Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League - 2024/25 Last season we enjoyed our debut in the Champions League, but lost out in the Premier League as TNS reclaimed their crown. This season we had to win it back. League Table - TNS ran us close by beating us twice after the split, but we hung on to claim the title. theWord Cup - our reserves won it again. FAW Welsh Cup - it was the same old story as TNS beat us in the final. UEFA Europa League - we entered the group stage as third seeds and got a favourable draw as we made history by getting out of the group stage for the first time. Transfers - more foreign players were signed as I made the most of our scouting range. Squad - I still need to cut the size down, but the squad is in superb shape. Finances - the Champions League money is running out. Key Player Profiles: Garry Hughes - top scorer, despite missing months through injury. Eric Tambwe - he filled in when Hughes was injured. Phil Halliday - superb again, despite competition for his place in the team. Alpha Keita - another player who has impressed again. Jordan Graham - the youth products look a bit out of place now, but he still had a good season. Career Overview Season Position Achievements -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2014/15 10th 2015/16 2nd Welsh Cup winners 2016/17 2nd 2017/18 2nd Welsh Cup finalists 2018/19 2nd 2019/20 2nd League Cup winners, Welsh Cup finalists 2020/21 2nd 2021/22 2nd Welsh Cup finalists 2022/23 1st 2023/24 2nd League Cup winners, Welsh Cup finalists 2024/25 1st League Cup winners, Welsh Cup finalists Next Season Ideally I'd like to make the Champions League group stage again, but realistically I'd be happy if we could retain our league title. dafuge
just seen this thread and your doing amazing as usual. to be getting to the champs league group stage this quick is great Getting into the group stage isn't quite as difficult as it sounds, thanks to the 'champions' route in the qualifiers. If we had a second spot then it would be close to impossible to qualify as you'd come up against the big clubs finishing 3rd/4th in the big leagues. dafuge
Caersws - Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League - 2025/26 After beating TNS to the title again last season we wanted to go one better and retain it. League Table - it was a near perfect season, but TNS beat us. theWord Cup - this was our third in a row. FAW Welsh Cup - TNS got the better of us in dramatic fashion. UEFA Champions League - once again we had no problems in the qualifiers but we managed a first in the group stage as four points from our final two games qualified us for the Europa League. Transfers - a few great players were signed, but no one wanted to pay much for our players. Squad - we are a striker short of being a great team. Finances - the Champions League money saved us, our spending is not sustainable. Key Player Profiles: Jordan Graham - the youth product top scored for us. Rhys McGee - a superb new signing. Olegs Vasiljevs - a great winger. Milija Miljkovic - our captain. Thomas Boyle - a new signing, and technically our best player. Career Overview Season Position Achievements -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2014/15 10th 2015/16 2nd Welsh Cup winners 2016/17 2nd 2017/18 2nd Welsh Cup finalists 2018/19 2nd 2019/20 2nd League Cup winners, Welsh Cup finalists 2020/21 2nd 2021/22 2nd Welsh Cup finalists 2022/23 1st 2023/24 2nd League Cup winners, Welsh Cup finalists 2024/25 1st League Cup winners, Welsh Cup finalists 2025/26 1st League Cup winners Next Season Qualifying for the Champions League group stage is the aim, we could be in trouble if that doesn't happen. dafuge
Getting squeaky bum with those finances. It is getting a bit scary. I think I'm going to have to be careful with wages, I could have a Leeds/Pompey situation otherwise.

dafuge
Caersws - Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League - 2026/27 Last season we managed to fend off the challenge of TNS once again, so it was time to set our sights a bit higher. League Table - an unbeaten season, but TNS still score more! theWord Cup - TNS beat our backup players. FAW Welsh Cup - we seem to be a bit cursed in this cup. UEFA Champions League - some phenomenal results in the group stage brought us a stroke of luck in the next draw. Lyon were too much for us in the quarter final, but we didn't embarrass ourselves. Transfers - a couple of big sales and a few great players signed. Squad - there's plenty of room for improvement, but this squad is great for this league. Finances - the Champions League run makes us look minted, but with new facilities on the way it could be short lived. Key Player Profiles: Moha - the new striker made a big impact. Henry Kay - a superb inside forward. Rhys McGee - brilliant yet again. Thomas Boyle - our star player. Garry Hughes - he was great when needed, but he'll probably be released as his contract expires. Career Overview Season Position Achievements -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2014/15 10th 2015/16 2nd Welsh Cup winners 2016/17 2nd 2017/18 2nd Welsh Cup finalists 2018/19 2nd 2019/20 2nd League Cup winners, Welsh Cup finalists 2020/21 2nd 2021/22 2nd Welsh Cup finalists 2022/23 1st 2023/24 2nd League Cup winners, Welsh Cup finalists 2024/25 1st League Cup winners, Welsh Cup finalists 2025/26 1st League Cup winners 2026/27 1st Welsh Cup finalists Next Season Qualification for the Champions League group stage is the only thing that matters, although it would be nice to beat TNS in the Welsh Cup. dafuge
Caersws - Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League - 2027/28 Last season we shocked the World with our performances in the Champions League, could we do it again? League Table - at all came down to the last game, which was TNS away. We won 4-1 which was a huge relief after we dropped far too many points during the season. theWord Cup - we won again with the squad players. FAW Welsh Cup - finally! UEFA Champions League - after getting another result in Turin it looked like we might repeat our success of last season, but instead we had to settle for a decent run in the Europa League. Transfers - we got a decent fee for our star defender, although we struggled to replace him. Squad - some of the weaker players are due to leave, so there will be some replacements coming in over the summer. Finances - another great profit, despite the continual investment in the facilities. Key Player Profiles: Moha - he scored even more than last season. Henry Kay - a great goal tally for the inside forward. Rhys McGee - another great season. Thomas Boyle - a superb player. Peter Parry - one of the only youth products good enough to remain in the team. Career Overview Season Position Achievements -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2014/15 10th 2015/16 2nd Welsh Cup winners 2016/17 2nd 2017/18 2nd Welsh Cup finalists 2018/19 2nd 2019/20 2nd League Cup winners, Welsh Cup finalists 2020/21 2nd 2021/22 2nd Welsh Cup finalists 2022/23 1st 2023/24 2nd League Cup winners, Welsh Cup finalists 2024/25 1st League Cup winners, Welsh Cup finalists 2025/26 1st League Cup winners 2026/27 1st Welsh Cup finalists 2027/28 1st League Cup and Welsh Cup winners Next Season As always, winning the league and making the Champions League group stage is all we can aim for at the moment. dafuge
Caersws - Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League - 2028/29 Last season we completed an historic treble, so this season we wanted to build on that with a decent season in Europe. League Table - it came down to the last game again as we threw away points far too easily. theWord Cup - international call ups ruined our chances here. FAW Welsh Cup - it looks like our jinx is well and truly over. UEFA Champions League - we were stunning in the group stage, but injuries to key players cost us against Lyon. Transfers - just a few transfers, but some great signings. Squad - it is starting to become hard to find players good enough to get into the team now. Finances - all the profit was reinvested in new facilities. Key Player Profiles: Moha - despite a bad injury he set another goalscoring record. Henry Kay - another superb season. Rhys McGee - a bad injury halted a brilliant season. Thomas Boyle - a brilliant player. Tebogo Buthelezi - he didn't have a great season, but he's a talented defender. Career Overview Season Position Achievements -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2014/15 10th 2015/16 2nd Welsh Cup winners 2016/17 2nd 2017/18 2nd Welsh Cup finalists 2018/19 2nd 2019/20 2nd League Cup winners, Welsh Cup finalists 2020/21 2nd 2021/22 2nd Welsh Cup finalists 2022/23 1st 2023/24 2nd League Cup winners, Welsh Cup finalists 2024/25 1st League Cup winners, Welsh Cup finalists 2025/26 1st League Cup winners 2026/27 1st Welsh Cup finalists 2027/28 1st League Cup and Welsh Cup winners 2028/29 1st Welsh Cup winners Next Season We could really do with winning the league convincingly, TNS have been dangerously close for the last couple of seasons.
