dafuge
FIFA World Cup Qualifying We couldn't keep up with Italy, but we made the playoffs. Wales v Ukraine A superb one man show gave us a great chance of making the World Cup. Ukraine v Wales Thanks to the first leg, this was a comfortable win. dafuge
Wow, even including youth products that didn't catch on with the first team? Most of the squad have come from the English Premier League, although I'm trying to involve some of my youth products a bit more, even if they aren't quite good enough. I'm signing more youth products now than I used to though, so hopefully I can have more of an influence on the national team over the next few years. dafuge
Caersws - Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League - 2053/54 Rebuilding was still the aim as I continued to replace the older players with youngsters. League Table - our lowest points total for over ten years. Domestic Cups - we had a shocker, losing early in both cups. UEFA Super Cup - a comfortable win. FIFA Club World Cup - an unlikely final with a predictable result. UEFA Champions League - history was made with an all Welsh final, which we won. Transfers - there was a huge clear out as we cashed in on unhappy or unwanted players. Our signings were expensive, but hopefully worth it in the long run. Squad - there are still a few older players left, but the balance is pretty good. Finances - a huge profit thanks to the transfers. Key Player Profiles: Otacílio - he was doing fairly well, until he was out for 6 months with a broken leg. Ian Thorne - the captain was superb, but suffered an injury that could put him out for 8 months. Luã - superb as usual. Riccardo Saraceno - he's about to turn 32, but he's irreplaceable. Lazar Milovic - he's turning into a great defender. dafuge
Wales - World Cup 2054 Qualification went well, with a playoff win over Ukraine sealing our ticket to France. Wales v Qatar I was expecting an easy game but it was far from that, we were lucky to get the win. Eqypt v Wales We took our chances in another close match. With Spain winning both their matches (with a far superior goal difference) it means we have qualified but would need a win to top the group. I think I'll take this as a chance to rest a few players. Spain v Wales I rested a lot of players and Spain strolled to a comfortable win without either side really breaking a sweat. Group Table Pretty much exactly what I expected going into this group. Spain's reward for beating us was a match against Serbia, we will play Iran! Wales v Iran (2nd round) It took a while, but we finally got the goal we deserved. We seem to have got lucky drawing Romania in the next round. Romania v Wales (quarter final) It was a terrible game, but our early goal was enough to seal the win. Wales v Italy (semi final) There was no easy draw here, but we did the impossible. Wales are in the World Cup final. Spain v Wales (final) I'm lost for words. Btw, how much did all Welsh UCL final affect the standings? The club badly needs a new stadium, which could be due in about five years time. That's my first priority. I've started collecting youth players in the hope of improving the national team, although winning the World Cup was a bit weird as it means I no longer have something to aim for. The nation coefficients still have us 8th, we just don't have the number of quality clubs to get much higher than this.

dafuge
Caersws - Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League - 2054/55 Last season really couldn't be bettered with an all Welsh Champions League final and Wales winning the World Cup. League Table - the first half of the season was a real struggle, but the other clubs faded handing us the title easily. Domestic Cups - a 121st minute equaliser and win on penalties was the highlight. UEFA Super Cup - the sending off made it close, but two late goals sealed the win. FIFA Club World Cup - oops. UEFA Champions League - we were lucky to make it as far as we did, where we threw it away against Man Utd. Transfers - I tried, but work permits stopped all my attempts to sign new players. Squad - the squad is decent, with a few local players making up the numbers. Finances - another decent profit, hopefully I can spend some of this on new players. Key Player Profiles: Otacílio - a decent season considering he missed 5 months at the end of last season. Ian Thorne - at his age he was never going to recover from the 8 month injury. Luã - another star player who struggled with a 3 month injury. Riccardo Saraceno - he's just returned from 3 months out, so this injury will probably end his career. Mariano Jones - a youth product who is breaking into the first team. dafuge
Wales - European Championship 2056 Qualifying went well, as we made it with a game to spare. Israel v Wales An early goal set us on our way as we won our opening match. Wales v Bosnia & Herzegovina Things were going well until the red card, but we hung on for the win. Germany v Wales Like two years ago, we faced the top team having already qualified, so I rested a lot of players. We took the lead, but Germany outclassed us. Group Table With three teams qualifying, we made it easily. Northern Ireland v Wales (2nd round) This draw sounded superb, but Northern Ireland were solid. We were lucky to win. Spain v Wales (quarter final) It was a repeat of the World Cup final, but there was no miracle this time. I've had an amazing run as Wales manager, but I've not been able to influence the squad with my own youth players, instead I have made the most out of Swansea's academy. With the World Cup win, I don't really have a lot left to aim for here, so I have decided to quit as manger of the national team.

League Table - a couple of slip-ups, but our defence was superb. Domestic Cups - no problems with penalties this year. UEFA Super Cup - this was pretty close. FIFA Club World Cup - a fairly comfortable win. UEFA Champions League - there were a few shocks, but we came through to make the final. I can't imagine the local crowd were happy! Transfers - I made a bold move, selling our star player and replacing him with an expensive record signing. Squad - the squad feels strong, but there are still improvements to be made. Mariano Jones - the youth product is shining. Aaron Curran - the second choice striker. Alex García - brilliant again. yugo23
3rd is not so far away now. Btw, considering how high WPL is now ranked, one would guess that more and more players from abroad are willing to come. Did you notice rise in quantity of good players that are interested in joining your club? Does enabling 'unrealistic transfers' filter now hides less players than before? dafuge
I can't say I've noticed any difference, although hopefully it will make it easier for the other clubs to sign better players.
dafuge
Caersws - Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League - 2058/59 With the chance of a new stadium getting closer, it was important we continued our winning ways. League Table - a bit shaky compared to the last couple of seasons. Domestic Cups - we were knocked out of the league cup early, but won the Welsh cup, just. UEFA Super Cup - we wasted a lot of chances, but still won. FIFA Club World Cup - this time we took our chances. UEFA Champions League - the semi final was the highlight as Bangor have become a major force in Europe now. The final was settled in extra time with a hattrick by a defender. Transfers - this was a busy year as I sold three key players and replaced them with overpriced youngsters. Squad - the squad is in great shape, with a much lower average age now. Finances - all our money seems to have gone! Key Player Profiles: Alejandro Alberich - top scorer, but I'm not convinced he's been value for money. Mariano Jones - the youth product has really taken to the inside forward role. Tomas Adam - stepped into the first team with style. Omar Abdel Aziz - the Champions League final hero. Francesco Pezzotti - another great season for the midfielder.
