dunner
Hi Guys, I have various face/kit/ground packs and use the steklo skin but one thing i have noticed is that when i play in the final of the carling/fa cup or the charity shield there is no picture of wembley in the back ground. I have gone into preferences and i have "show unique IDs" box ticked and it shows the unique ID for everything but when i am in the final of any of these cups i cant find a unique ID for them so i dont know how to add a picture of wembley. Can someone help me please? Thanks in advance.
jod123
I don't know if you could do it for just cup finals at Wembley but you could do it for all matches at Wembley so any time you play a match there the background pic wil come up. Is that what you want?
dunner
Sure that would be perfect how do i do that??
jod123
First get a picture of Wembley that is a JPEG image and a size of 1024 x 768 pixels. Then save in this location My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football manager 2008/graphics. Then you need to create the config file which is done like this. 1. Open notepad 2. Type this: <record> <!-- resource manager options --> <!-- don't preload anything in this folder --> <boolean id="preload" value="false"/> <!-- turn off auto mapping --> <boolean id="amap" value="false"/> <!-- picture mappings --> <!-- the following XML maps pictures inside this folder into other positions in the resource system, which allows this folder to be dropped into any place in the graphics folder and still have the game pick up the graphics files from the correct places --> <list id="maps"> <record from="(NAME OF PICTURE)" to="graphics/pictures/stadium/(UNIQUE ID OF WEMBLEY)/background"/> </list> </record> 3. The unique id can be found in the official editor. 4. Save the file in "My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football manager 2008/graphics" as config.xml and select save as type as all files. 5. Go into the game preferences and turn off skin cache and turn on always reload skin on confirm. Confirm the changes. 6. Go back in and turn on skin cache and turn off always reload skin on confirm. Confirm the changes. The backround pic should now work. Hope you get that.
