metac0gnition
I was reading up some of the older posts on zonalmarking and came across the term central winger. You can read about it here http://www.zonalmarking.net/2010/12/03/introducing-the-central-winger/. How can I implement something like this?
Rashidi
Central Winger = player who drifts to pick up the ball, plays in a central position as a playmaker and is likely to be all over the pitch supporting and building play, but more often on the wings, as thats where he picks up the ball more often. In my 4411 its the guy behind the AF, and I set him up as a TQ, and you can do the same with a formation like the 4231 and set the 1 as a DLF. sebaz
Just from the top of my head: -Wing Play = Hugging the touchline -Free Role ticked -High Creative Freedom. Those three settings are in my opinion extremely important for it to function properly. That coupled with a player with good PPM's (Hugs the line, Moves into Channels) should get you closer to what you want to achieve.

agentvinz
hug touch line won't work at all, I've tried it and it doesn't do anything.. The easiest way is set him as TQ but maybe give him full closing down so he'll chase the ball more.. a TQ has move into channel, roaming but RFD rarely so he'll often move to the wing often..However he might not get high rating because he'll rarely assist/ score as his job is only to support the wing
