Davey Boy
sorry if this has been asked before, but does the trial day happen every season for a club or do you have to do it manualy? also those trialists are they dead wood from other clubs or could it be like a youth intake? ta
Bobble2002
you can also be offered the chance to attend a trial day if you are a lower league team so you get the chance to pick up unwanted players at the start of a season
Davey Boy
is this worth doing if your a so called big club? seems to me the youth intake is all i should be bothered about? when would be the best time to have a trial day?
Erimus1876
I picked up a few bargains on trial days. I remember in FM11 or 12 seeing Febian Brandy destroy his opponents defense in a trial day match. I wasn't aware of him until then. I signed him on a free and he went on to be top scorer every season I had him. Its well worth attending them games as sometimes you can spot a few rough diamonds imho
Davey Boy
what part/time of the season is best to have a trial day?
Soccer
Usually during pre-season. That way, you have more time to bed new players in, if you select some from the trial squads.
