titchuk Posted December 19, 2012 Share Posted December 19, 2012 I think I would be tempted to vote for an inactive tomorrow as opposed to an active player as an inactive villager dying doesn't do us as much harm as active one but for the moment I'll wait and see what happens. Yeah I think I agree with this, plus its more fun with active people even if they are suspiciously wolf-like (mentioning no names). So yeah, if theres someone who's not posted by this time tomorrow then they'll probably be my vote, unless we can figure out a wolf of course. BoroPhil Posted December 20, 2012 Share Posted December 20, 2012 Following on from some of BoroPhil's points earlier I feel its better for the villagers to keep the thread active as then there is more chance of a wolf making a mistake or being targeted for being "quiet".With this in mind and as there hasn't been that many votes yet I'm going to share some of my thoughts and hopefully it will provoke some more discussion. I've read through the thread a couple of times and have loosely grouped people together in the following groups: Group 1: People who I am leaning towards being villagers or at least giving the benefit of the doubt to atm. Chopper is either a fool, or a scum. Fake claiming a town power role is just as likely to draw the real power role out as confuse the bad guys. Just played a game elsewhere where someone fake claimed a cop role (really badly) and got someone lynched as a result, and the real cop counter claimed, and got killed that night, next day the fake cop gets lynched and it was effectively game over. So no option for clever town trying to confuse because it is a bad move in a limited role setup like this. BoroPhil, I am trying to work out if the 'wolf wont post here' comment is trying to play dumb or some sort of 'trick'. Wolves (I assume) will know they post here during day so his comment would be playing dumb if he was one of them. I think gordon you have to realise that some of us are new to mafia, and won't know the tactics, hence you might get silly wolves who attempt to stay hidden out of sight. I'm happy to give Cougar the benefit of the doubt for the moment. I'm leaning towards Plumble or SCIAG atm as they have appeared in the thread but only very briefly. Well to answer your other question I've probably played around 10 games and the last one would be around 2/3 years ago, in fact you were probably involved in several of them. As for the list its just the way my mind works, I'm used to working with lists - I guess I should be glad you said usually and not always although on the other side of the coin coming into the thread, stating how much experience you have and then saying the first person to make a list is usually scum could also be deemed suspicious. Anyway someone said earlier that a wolf would try to fly below the radar without being inactive so with that in mind I'm going to vote for someone who has posted a few times without actually saying much.
