MacZidane Posted November 30, 2012 Share Posted November 30, 2012 I think - and I may be wrong here - if you have an actual Reserve team manager, then the game doesn't allow you to control the reserves. In my Coventry game, Lee Carsley holds this position, and the option for me to control the team is greyed out. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
swisso Posted November 30, 2012 Share Posted November 30, 2012 Correct, if there are Managers set in the DB for the Reserves and U18s, then they must be removed from this position for you to take charge. There are 2 ways of doing this... a) terminate their contracts or offer mutual termination b) offer them new contracts with a different staff role You cannot take over the Reserves or U18s whilst there are Managers in place.
