evertonmarc
Well, i finally got to March 2013 (when English regens are created) in my Everton save - got the fantastic news that one of my youth intake was "possibly the best player of his generation". After checking Robbie Conkie's stats, i was quite delighted (striker, 20 in determination, decent physicals), i thought i'd check his report. The good news is, one of his strengths is his important match mentals, which go well with his amazing determination. The bad news.....Weakness is injury proneness. What happened? He played in the first "youth intake" Vs current under 18's team, and promptly does his knee in
cjmaitland
I had a similar situation with a BSN team, the intake came in, and a striker rated 'good league 1 player' came into the March youth intake, looked great, like he could single handedly take us out of the Blue Square leagues, then as soon as he signs a contract (probably on the walk from the office to the training pitch) the next next news item tells me he's done his leg in, 6 months!
