My coach reports confuse me

I'm managing Chelmsford at the moment, a lot of my players reports seem to say that they have the potential to be better than my first choice in that position-but they should also be offloaded as soon as possible?

Also, in my previous job as manager of New England, I scouted a player called Nicky Smith, my scout told me he's a quality player. Now I sign him for Chelmsford, a team a lot lower standard than New England, and I'm told I should offload him!

With reference to your previous job, the scouts probably had different abilities?

i'd have a guess that if nicky smith rescouted him a while later he'd probably come to the same conclusion. that he's actually rubbish. scouts in real life like to rave about players and then they turn out rubbish.
