SOStriker
Johnson bossing it. Because Alan Hanson says so. Must be true.
Helarxe
Good half. Terry
foolsgold
Walcott and the Ox could rip this defence apart. Whack Young behind Rooney and put these guys on the wings.
daylight
Can't see it finishing 0-0 with the chances being made. Everything seemed to go down England's right and Italy's left or through the middle very little on the other side at all. Good game though,Watching Ballotelli who has done well the first half I think he will either score or be sent off,he looks very determined maybe too much. Select_screen_name:
Because Alan Hanson says so. Must be true. I also watched it and saw for myself. Unlike the highly intelligent you, of course.
IMT
Agree with further up saying take Millner off, but not Welbeck, think he looked decent at times in the hole.
Confused Clarity
Gerrard and Parker seem to be all over the pitch at the moment. What's going on? You can't expect those two to keep their tactical discipline for four games in a row, can you?
Marc Albrighton
Hilarious that people are prasing johnson, guy thinks hes a winger/striker and a total liability.
Mr_Whippy
Just take Milner off. Me, the rest of this forum and England would agree.
Andrew_
Saw one clip of Johnson at half time going forward and now he's bossing the game He hasn't been atrocious.
Bababui
Good pace to it, good chances. Yeah..English players might not be as skilled as the others but their style is more fun to watch.

DJ
So far I haven't seen Balotelli do anything that would warrant a sending off. Seems concentrated and composed. It would be advisable for the English to rattle him a bit I guess.

Select_screen_name:
Saw one clip of Johnson at half time going forward and now he's bossing the game He's the only danger down the wings, and attack so far. Get a clue, you mess.
ddidiodion
I dislike Johnson more than the next man but he's done alright today, no horrendous defensive errors or anything.
Leppard
If the next 10 minutes shape up like the previous 15, might be a good idea to take off Welbeck/Rooney and bring on Carroll. Lumping up balls to him
SOStriker
I also watched it and saw for myself. Unlike the highly intelligent you, of course. Oh, I have been told. Someone apply the burn medicine, it hurts so. Johnson has been very hit and miss like afew players so far tonight. He hasn't bossed anything.
Unknown Hacker
I also watched it and saw for myself. Unlike the highly intelligent you, of course. Ahahahaha He's always making those ****** runs that sell Milner down the river; that was the whole reason why we conceded that Mellberg goal vs Sweden. foolsgold
Those who haven't noticed, just count how many times he gives it away in the 2nd half. I pray to God I'm proved wrong though.
joe__the__man
I'm usually one to argue for Milner over Walcott, but this game is screaming out for more pace from our flank and test Balzaretti. Young been quiet as well though, expected more from him in this game.
Mr_Whippy
I disagree. There's always one.

SOStriker
You can't expect those two to keep their tactical discipline for four games in a row, can you? I was actually impressed. It was working well going forward. Usually going forward we haven't had the numbers, but tonight we've had Gerrard going wide alot and Parker getting in the box. Unknown Hacker
There's always one. I'd say keep him on for 1/2 an hour to counteract Johnson, and then if you want to go for a goal then bring on Walcott. 1/2 time is far too soon to make a straight swap unless there is an injury or something... davehanson
Not expecting this kind of game at all. Both teams have actually looked very decent at times. Also have both looked very sloppy at other times. It will all come down to who can cut those sloppy moments out and put some phases together.
Unknown Hacker
Sometimes fullbacks make runs forward, whilst the winger covers. Welcome to football. Not in the first minute when said winger is outnumbered 3 to 1 and can only pass backwards to the goalkeeper as a result. Try not to patronise, please, as it's such a low form of wit. Andrew_
If Walcott comes on for Milner, Italy will score going down that side. Need at least one player to help Johnson defend/defend for him. He's a bit useless.

I wouldn't always say take him off at half time, probably around the 60th minute. Either way i'm not his biggest fan.
Heartwork
Johnson's been OK in attack but doesn't seem to understand that in his position he does need to get back into position when defending.

When would be an acceptable time to make a forward run then? In the 5th minute? 35th? Give Roy a ring and tell him to give Johnson a word.
