Personally thought it was one of the best opening tournament nights ever.

It was good, not great. Both the matches had one better team that dominated, to get any higher than a 7 would have required a bit more drama and to-ing and fro-ing.

I enjoyed the two games and although I will miss the first half of the Netherlands v Denmark game I am looking forward to watching Portugal v Germany as that should be a great game.

I give them a 6. Poland vs Greece was quite dramatic, but it was static as well. Russia vs Czech Republic was just a quite one-way match.

It was a good start,it was funny as I had said to the wife that the competition never really started until the Saturday...I was wrong there.

Thought the referee for the Poland-Greece game was pretty poor,thankfully his rash yellow cards for the Greek player did not spoil the match.

Looking forward to both games today,I have a feeling both with be quite dramatic.

I quite enjoyed it. Poland v Greece was exciting even though Poland threw the game away and the ref had a nightmare. Russia were good to watch but wasn't the closest game. Looks like we'll see lots of open, attack-minded football which is the key to an exciting tournament.
