MURRAYFIELD this cant be right can it no edits in the game or anything copy and paste link in new tab
ri916
Why not? The champions league final has been held in Istanbul. I dont see why holding it in Scotland is a big deal. Murrayfield is a large stadium with a capacity of 67,000, why is it unrealistic?
MarcWeir
because its a rugby park
Jakirola
Why not? The champions league final has been held in Istanbul. I dont see why holding it in Scotland is a big deal. Murrayfield is a large stadium with a capacity of 67,000, why is it unrealistic? because its not a football ground!!! Ive seen this in my game to and not sure why this in the game at all.... Guest
It's a leftover from when Hearts used the ground when Tynecastle failed to meet UEFA ground requirements, best guess is SI forgot to remove the stadium from the database.

Was just about to post this. Just an oversight I would imagine.
Guest
AFAIK it should be slated for removal from the FM13 database.

sthptngomad76
Mind you, not as odd as in CM 01-02 where Canada gets the 2014 World Cup. Edmonton Commonwealth Stadium (capacity 8000) hosts the final.

Nobby_McDonald
I don't see any issue with Murrayfield holding a Champions League final. It is a possibility (albeit small) in real life.
BigBlueAl
Why not let's all jump on the rugby bandwagon and play it at Twickenham !!

Nobby_McDonald
commonwealth stadium has a capacity of 60,000. hth. That was a database error where the capacity should have been entered as 60,000 but was actually entered as 6000.
Nobby_McDonald
Why not let's all jump on the rugby bandwagon and play it at Twickenham !! Murrayfield has hosted football matches before. To my knowledge, Twickenham hasn't.
Rikulec
I don't see anything odd about it.
sthptngomad76
That was a database error where the capacity should have been entered as 60,000 but was actually entered as 6000. That's a relief. Thought I had imagined it for a moment there. I also remember in CM4 where Northwich Victoria's ground had a capacity of approx 1 million, thought that was a similar db error. But that's neither here nor there.
av3ry
Check this out from FM08... 12,000 seater in the Republic of Ireland hosting a Champions League final. doubt that would happen somehow.
