Name: Warren Jacmot

Age: 17

Position: Right Full back

Summary: Warren was brought to the club in the later stages

of 2003. He has represented the club at U19 level

and is definately one for the future. His skillful

running up the right wing will help him progress

and become a memeber of the first team squad in a

couple of years time. He was brought from the Lyon

youth academy who were sad to see this young talent

go.</pre>

I was away to say that myself, the first team will definitely be stronger with the additions of Boumsong and Prso, and Rae to a lesser extent. There must be a few players still to come in, because any injuries to first teamers will mean youngsters having to take their place, which will lose Rangers points.

Actually Rangers failing to qualify for CL is good for Celtic as we would get ALL the Scottish share of the CL pot rather than splitting it. icon_biggrin.gif

Darry Duffy now at Falkirk, both the de Boers signed for Al-Rayyan in Qatar and Christian Nerlinger moved to Kaiserslautern.

Ter should know to get his info from FM Rangers - the only CM/FM club research page.... icon_wink.gif

Andy Walker and Archie McPerson's attempts will be just as funny.

this guy is 6 foot 5!! is also meant to be "hard as nails" well so ive heard anyway, soudns good though we need a bit of dig in the middle of the park. A 3 in midfield of him alex rae and a creative replacement for Arteta would do me fine, with Prso Novo and someone up front.

To tell you the truth, I have doubts over the story due to the £million transfer fee involved.

I don't think we've got that kind of money to waste on relatively unproven Eastern European midfield players.

I'm not saying he won't be a good player, but as already mentioned we have A. Rae, G. Rae, Zurab, Ricksen and Malcolm all capable of playing the holding role.

I'd be surprised to see this happen unless Ricksen/Arteta are definitely on their way.

Now being reported that the Serbian deal looks likely...

I doubt the £1million transfer fee is accurate though. Ricksen or Arteta must be nearly on their way...

We won't be short of big men next season then...

RANGERS have swooped to sign Red Star Belgrade midfielder Dragan Mladenovic on a four-year contract – subject to a work permit being granted - and the 28-year-old can’t wait to get his Ibrox career off and running.

Why can it never be 'signed' or 'bought' nah it has to be 'swooped' or some other pish.

The guy is getting some good write ups today in both the Rebel and the Sun - although Barry Horne has been comparing his touch to Zidane's(!)

Hopefully he'll provide bite and drive from midfield that Bob Malcolm won't rival

RANGERS want to sign Dutch striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and have asked to be kept informed about his situation at Chelsea.

Hasselbaink could be surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge under new gaffer Jose Mourinho.

Gers officials have registered an interest with the player's agent Humphrey Nijman and will learn more about their chances of getting him after he has had talks with his Portuguese boss.

It's also understood Celtic are monitoring the situation.

Hasselbaink earns around £60,000 per week and has one year of his deal to go.

Rangers would be willing to take him off Chelsea's hands on a year-long loan deal and split the wage bill.

Ibrox boss Alex McLeish has already signed striker Dado Prso from Monaco and is close to landing Dundee hitman Nacho Novo.

But Eck wants other quality strikers and Hasselbaink who was left out of Dick Advocaat's Euro 2004 squad is one he would be pleased to get.

McLeish has also signed French defender Jean-Alain Boumsong as he rebuilds his side for the new season.

Auxerre boss Guy Roux says Boumsong will make a big impact in Scotland even if he is only moving for the money.

He said: 'Boumsong is a very talented player. He copes well under pressure and reads the game beautifully.

'He has speed, is good in the air and can tackle well.

'He is also great in the dressing-room and gets on well with other players and his coaches. I can't pick out any faults in his game.'

Boumsong rejected interest from Liverpool and Italian sides to join Gers.

It is understood Rangers will pay the Bosman signing a basic weekly wage of around £27,000.

Boumsong's agent Willie McKay has stated his client will move on next summer for around £3.75million, making Gers a profit of close to £2.5million.

Roux added: 'People were surprised he has moved to Rangers but I am not. It is all about money.

'He will earn more at Ibrox than anywhere else and that is his decision.

'When cash is involved players should not be criticised. Money is a part of life after all.

'Boumsong was not expected to go to Scotland but I don't think he will be there for many years.

'He will move on to a stronger league. And when he does go Rangers will miss him, just like I will miss him for Auxerre this season.

'He is a good player and will do well in Scotland.

'Rangers are fortunate to be getting such a fine player and a great person.'

<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Source (don't quote this!)

First I have heard about Boumsong only going to stay for one season.
