Jonas66
Has anyone noticed any difference in signing players etc, from managers that over the course of the game you become friends with? Does it make any difference at all if you say positive or negative things about them in press conferences or interviews?
Kain
It does make it a little easier to sign players from clubs managed by managers who like you. I've had a bid turned down previously, and the message said it was because the manager doesn't like me.
steve_r
Yes, on FM10 Arsenal sold me one of their players at a reasonable price - in fact they accepted my 1st offer, which surprised me. I got a notice saying that Wenger was happy to do the deal largely thanks to his great working relationship with me. I have not noticed this yet on FM 12, but I am not that far into my save. jimbobBRFC
I always try to make friends with all managers (apart from Steve kean) as I do believe it helps with this sort of thing. A favoured personell will be more likely to accept a bid, as stated further up the thread
MartinGregory84
I tend to avoid the following..... Graham Westley Gary Megson Ronnie Moore and Lee Clark Horrible people!!
Kenco
I try to make friends with 'Arry so 'e can 'elp me with me taxes, Ian Holloway as he'd be a great laugh on a night out, Sven-Goran Eriksson for a good wing-man and Paul Ince or the new Wolves boss so the FA doesn't accuse me of discrimination.
