Keyzer Soze
The main point is... did you overachive in the league? And the others 3 managers?
Vangelis21
I think when you win the league with 16 points difference, have +110 goals difference and 76% win ratio you ARE the best manager of the league. I am not talking about me specifically. I understand that a team deemed to relegate and finished in the mid-table has a good manager. But is he better than the manager of the team that dominated the whole league? I am very interested in British people's opinion
Guest
Normally the award will go to the manager who won the league but if you were overwhelming favourites & a team tipped as possible relegation candidates managed to secure a top 3 position I'd give the award to their manager. It is strange that you did not feature in the top 3 though.

Vangelis21
Tonbridge = 9th Maidenhead = 14th Eastleaigh = 10th that's how the teams of the first three managers that got the awards finished. I still don't get it.
robertcornell68
Doesn't it go to the manager team with the biggest reputation increase? Most things in FM are decided by reputation. If your question is "shouldn't I have won"? The answer is: yes.
eastley
No, a team full of stars expected to win the premiership does not mean the manager should win.. Managers with lesser skilled teams, who achieve something above there expectation deserve to win..
Vangelis21
check the premier league's list with past managers that won. Do you see any small teams that achieved something above the expectations?
Guest
Only other thing I can guess is that you had a high starting rep (ex-international/ ex-pro), no point in rewarding someone who is managing well below is level. I'd suggest uploading your save for SI to look at if you really do think there is a problem.
Coentrao
Isn't the manager of the year decided by votes from other managers in the league ? Maybe they don't like you
crazyscotsman
I think Coentrao is correct - fellow managers vote for the manager of the year. I would check you remarks made of them during the season.
