luigiluigi
When you get this from your coach before a team talk, whats the best option to select? Why on earth has the simple yet effective "You can win today" been taken out? Surely thats exactly what should be said if you think your team has a chance, but dont want to "expect a win"? NUFCAlex
Someone posted on a similar thread saying they only ever used "go out and enjoy yourselves" at the start and it should make the players relaxed. I can second this as have been trying it and it makes the players relaxed which may sound worrying as it could make them complacent but it has always had a positive reaction on the pitch for me so far. wazza
Agree there should be more reactions for pre match talks 'go out and enjoy yourself' relaxes them and takes the pressure off. Whenever I have put expect a win etc there is no reaction at all. You only seem to be able to relax your players at start of game in pre match.
