Robokid87
If we want a back up right back we should look at Gabre Selassie from the Czech Republic, great performances so far. Well played el sid too
Administrators Philip Rolfe Posted June 16, 2012 Author Administrators Share Posted June 16, 2012 Yeah I liked him pre-tournament and he's done well. He's a bit older than I thought but could be good.
football_master_94
Dunno, I haven't bought all the hype about Gebre Selassie - looks good going forward but not great defensively, imo.

football_master_94
I thought we have Wigan away as our opener ?
Robokid87
From Dan Levene (@BluesChronicle) on Twitter: How CL fits into fixtures: QPR(a)-CL-SCFC(h); AFC(a)-CL-NCFC(h); THFC(a)-CL-MU(h); SCFC(a)-CL-LFC(h); WBA(a)-CL-MC(h); WHU(a)-CL-SAFC(a). Not pleasant. And yeah, pretty sure it's Wigan away?
Administrators Philip Rolfe Posted June 18, 2012 Author Administrators Share Posted June 18, 2012 It's Wigan.

Not pleasant. And yeah, pretty sure it's Wigan away? That is not pleasant? You have 5 home games following CL games, two of those relatively easy. Administrators Philip Rolfe Posted June 18, 2012 Author Administrators Share Posted June 18, 2012 Why ignore the clearly tougher preceding fixtures though? They have an impact.
Robokid87
Yeah, it's certainly not ideal but a bloody walk in the park compared to what United got! You'd have thought that the Premier League could make an attempt to go 3 home, 3 away for each of the clubs, but I suppose it's more complicated than that. Also what was said above, Spurs, followed by a trip to Russia or something, followed by United would be really horrible.
Icelander83
Why ignore the clearly tougher preceding fixtures though? They have an impact. They don't count. Do you never watch football Rolfe? There's a reason the pundits never talk about those matches Also, someone get on creating you lot a new thread, now!
Administrators Philip Rolfe Posted June 18, 2012 Author Administrators Share Posted June 18, 2012 New thread: http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php/309192-Champions-of-Europe-2012-13 This one to be retired to the vault in due course, it was quite a thread.
