footynut
Just a quick one, I'm new to FM11 and one of my loan players has just broken his arm. How do I send him back to his club as I can't seem to dind this option anywhere? Thanks for the help
tom_numbers
I don't know that you would be able to. On his proofile, terminate loan should be along the top (or in Transfers & Contracts, I can't remember) If "can be recalled" wasn't selected, you might not be able to. footynut
That's where I thought the option would be but it doesn't seem to be there. I'm sure I had "can be recalled" selected as at the time I thought I'd made a mistake with this. You should be able to send him back though so that the player gets better treatment. tom_numbers
I think there have been precedents set in real life where the loaning club has wanted to end the deal early, but the parent club has rejected it because they don't want to play the players wages. mdady825
All depends on the deal done I think, I have had a couple of instances where the loan can be terminated, some that can't, so look into the loan deal a bit further.
StewieGriffin
Presuming this is a player that you loaned from a club, did you pay a fee at all for the loan? If so, I don't believe you can terminate the loan. The "Can be recalled" option is for the club who has loaned the player to allow them to take the player back if they suddenly needed him. footynut
I didn't pay a fee but I'm contributing to a small percentage of the players salary. Maybe that's why I can't send him back but it's strange as I received advice telling me I should terminate his contarct. Also, I', playing as Lincoln and the player in question is from Sunderland. Now if you was Sunderland manager wouldn't you want him receiving better treatment back at the club? Last night I looked at all my other loan players and couldn't see anywhere I could terminate contract. Now, I haven't been playing since FM08 but you could terminate contact easily with that version of the game.
masshlx
Restarting this thread as I just a loaner tear his hamstring and was advised to terminate his contract. cannot figure out how to do it.
Lazaru5
if you can send them back it is in the transfers & contracts menu "terminate loan"
CElliott
I'm guessing here, but have a look at all the options in the player's "Have Player Chat" menu. Normally there are options there to Transfer List, Warn Transfer List etc for poorly performing players, perhaps there will be an item there to terminate loans for injured or non-performing loaned players? Nottingham Forest
Are you outside of the transfer window when trying to send a player back? If so wait until January.
AjaxNo1
It is there I sent 3 of my 4 players back, it all depends on how you loan them, also cant remember if I did it in the transfer window or not
