DSYoungEsq
I know you will do well this time. And that will lead to job offers.......... from other Malian sides. Good Luck!
Pangaea
Lovely picture from your new scenery there. Gotta love Africa Have seen some pictures from friends who have been to Kenya and Rwanda, and to say it's stunningly beautiful is an understatement. Did you know Mali was sort of an empire way back? DSYoungEsq
He would if he ever played Civilization IV, or if he played Europa Universalis! The empire of Malee was ruled at one point by the Mansa Musa I. His Hajj to Mecca was renowned because he brought with him incredible wealth, a baggage train so full of gold that he literally created economic havoc everywhere he went in the Mediterranean through the sudden influx of so much gold. He brought all sorts of scholars back with him; for a while, the empire was a leading scholarship destination.
Jason the Yank
Pfft, I've played every edition of Civ (well, not the add-on packs). (acutally I haven't played much of Civ V, as buggy as it was)
Nobby_McDonald
I never got into Civ V much, partly due to a lack of time to be able to play it. Civ IV remains the best for me, with Beyond the Sword expansion. I've had some epic games on that.
Pangaea
Civ 5 sucked arse. 4 however is a master piece IIRC, Timbuktu was the scholarly centre in Africa at that time. Certainly that region of Africa.
Nobby_McDonald
I bet you have a huge advantage when playing on a single continent map.
