SWaRFeGa
An above-average goal tally for a central defender is usually due to using "the corner exploit".

Hibserpool
I have a regen centre half who currently has 12 goals in 39 appearances. I suppose it helps that he is 6ft 6" and my set piece taker has 19 for crossing, 19 for free kicks and 20 for corners. And it's not using the 'corner bug'. Set pieces are set to default. Just because your set pieces are set to default doesn't mean that you couldn't be exploiting a bug/issue. That said with the set piece taker you have and the size of the defender it seems reasonable. I thought exploiting the bug was to set it to a certain 'tactic' when taking set pieces? Otherwise, how would it be possible to not exploit the bug? Betty Swalls
Just because your set pieces are set to default doesn't mean that you couldn't be exploiting a bug/issue. exactly, you have to intentionally avoid it by not using those type of settings. by the way, does anyone remember how we turn it off again? :o

Exploiting a weakness in the ME at set pieces is usually down to putting players in certain areas and default instructions can just as easily put them there as giving manual instructions exactly, you have to intentionally avoid it by not using those type of settings. by the way, does anyone remember how we turn it off again? :o Your smart alec comments are becoming very old & tiresome. Hibserpool
Exploiting a weakness in the ME at set pieces is usually down to putting players in certain areas and default instructions can just as easily put them there as giving manual instructions Ahhh i see. Well i haven't intentionally exploited it, so i'm not really fussed by it. And as you said, for a 6 ft 6 centre half to score 12 headers from a set piece specialists deliveries, isn't exactly unrealistic. How much did Lescott score in 'that' season for Everton?
