Dan2610
My internet is currently down so I'm posting this from my phone. I've tried loading football manager and it tells me to start steam in offline mode... When I do this it says: 'could not connect to steam network' anybody know how I get it to work? StevoRobbo
If its a problem with steam the logical thing to do would be to look at the FAQ on the steam site. Or you could start steam and look in the options/preferences for the option to start in offline mode.
daylight
Find your steam folder, then double click on steamapps, then common, then football manager 11,then you will see an fm icon, double click on that to launch, for future right click on that icon and make a shortcut on your desktop. Liverpoolfan
When i've had this problem with my internet steam has never let me play on football manager, i don't think their is a way to get on it, have you tried looking around searching to see if any other game forums or steam's forum know how? Wiitastic
Did a google search and found this Make a text document and write ForceOfflineMode=Enable and then save as steam.cfg (not steam.cfg.txt) in Steam map. Then it will enter offline mode everytime you start steam, without the need to start steam online and then enter offline from there.
