JamesB
I opened up Steam to access an unrelated game and noticed this on the home page: I am looking forward to saving big. $89.99USD is a bargain, thanks Sega

JamesB
Isn't it Steam that set the prices, not Sega? Not unless they've got an arrangement that differs from every other one that publishers have made public. See here: http://gamegirl.5elements.net/2009/07/steam-who-sets-the-prices/
matthiele
i often see really good prices for games on steam. not so with football manager though! $89 is a massive price to pay. I would have considered buying from steam if it had been more reasonable. Thats the same price you pay at the most expensive games store like eb games. IMT
Whether it is Steam or Sega or set the price, it's disgraceful and they wonder why piracy is still high!!! (not that I am condoning piracy of course)
Guest PW
I'm afraid its always the way, companies build up loyal fan bases and then try to rip them off with over pricing and take their custom for granted.....................anyway thats enough about Man U!!!!!! Seriously though the day Sega jumped onto the FM bandwagon, for me personally, was a sad day. This game is only as good as it is due to the loyal community, the testing that users do free of charge, and the suggestions that are made to make it even better. We all want a great game and I don't mind companies making big profits but not when it is in this way and to this degree.
