We have exclusive content for our members. Guests can sign up with an easy free registration. Our Chatbox feature is widely used by members from all over the world to share stories, ideas, or just enjoy chatting with other game players. Our commitment to our members is to never charge for content or solicit donations towards the running of our site. Our site is fully funded by our founders. Site History The Site concept was introduced in November 2009 and went officially live in December 2009. Since then we have added more staff including forum moderators, Writers and a Graphics crew to add more content to the site. We have been continually coming up with ideas to enhance the site and now feature a weekly custom database for members to download and play. Also, we offer a Monthly contest for a free game download from Steam. Our goal is to have fun and expand the enjoyment of the Football Manager series as much as possible. This is quite an undertaking that a couple of our mods have come up with. Ultimate Football Manager 2011 - The Rules If your application to manage a Fantasy League Team has been successful, you will be paired with a team out of the Fantasy League Draw. A standard team consists of 15 players,which is broken down as; 2 Goalkeepers, 5 Defenders, 5 Midfielders and 3 Strikers. Your squad list will be sent to you via PM, and will then be published in the Squad List thread. The next step is the Club House page. This is where you will put your own stamp on your team. You can create a unique team name, your team kits (Home, Away and if really needed, a third strip), and the stadium you wish to play at. There are certain rules and guidelines on the names you can use for your team and stadium. The capacity must also be of a reasonable size. Now you’ve got the chance to fully create your own team’s tactics. You have two options here, you can either; create a tactic yourself, upload it and give the link to me, or you can give instructions in your Match Day thread. Everything you can do, tactically, on Football Manager, you can do at this stage of the game. Everything must be instructed and submitted before a deadline on the Match Day. You can also instruct us on what substitutions to use and when to use them, depending on different circumstances. After the tactics and team selection has been finalised. Your matches will then be played by the Fantasy League chairman, which in this case is Pringers. I will then create a new thread named ‘Match Day 1 Results’, for example. This will be a post with the score, ratings, and feedback. Any other screenshots or replays can be requested at the start of the match day. In some fixtures, a full report can be created by me, and this will also be made available on request, so you can know how the League chairman thought the game went. I then get abused by admin and called a bellend. Whilst I am here how is your 20 members a day better then the 50-70 I had when running that "****" site? Also Is the following really neccesary? Needlenose Posted January 17, 2011 Author Share Posted January 17, 2011 While this is not the forum for complaints, as the original owner of the site I feel compelled to respond and I must say that the recent problems that have been encountered with several individuals from other sites have been appalling. From racism, pornography and general spamming I wonder whey they even sign up in the first place? They seem to want to merge, then their sites close, then it reopens again, I am not sure what their reasoning is but the members seem to jump around creating issues for other forums. This is not just happening on our forum but seems to be an issue for several forums that I am associated with. To these individuals that were banned, yes you were banned for just causes, even if you didn't fit into the above categories, you did not adhere to the rules of the site. Yes, its great to have people come on the site and offer constructive criticism but to take the time just to register and then come on and just pick apart everything saying your site is better does not do anybody any good. We do have a thread for site improvements but we expect some logical and productive input, not "your site sucks because you banned my buddy". If you want to offer critiques then please do so, you can do it via PM to me, or via email if you wish to remain private. Was the banning handled poorly? I would have used a different description than "bellend" and that will be addressed between myself and the person responsible but a banning is a banning however you look at it. We do have rules just like any other forum. We have over 500 members signed up since we started and only have had to ban 5 people for breaking the forum rules, I think that's a decent record. As with all FM fansite forums there is a large element of youth involved whether in admin roles or moderators, we could not do what we wanted without them and their enthusiasm and I tip my hat to them for dedicating way too much of their time to running the forums. Sometimes an issue comes up and that is just due to some immaturity and mostly the "heat of the moment". However, on a personal level I am 50 years old and certainly no kid. Declan Barry Posted January 17, 2011 Share Posted January 17, 2011 I got banned too, I was checking out A15 Hammy posted and thought I would check into the chatbox and we got talking about Invision and I asked a few questions like "have you used it?", "Can you skin it?" I got very rash answers such as "of course, that's why we're getting it" and when I asked about skinning and mentioning how hard it was - I was going to offer help a few admins started flaming me and saying how friendly they are they said it was more like a goodbye and blocked me with the tag "penis". Now 500 members with 5 banned is fine, I have not permanantly banned anyone and never even temp banned anyone for such a stupid reason and my site has 600 members. The ban doesn't mean a lot to me but when Hammy and I were posting your only real content there - A15 (apparently me saying don't buy IPB if you don't have ideas and any real content because your current forum doesn't show any of both was calling the site "****" as an admin said") and to get banned like that is a bit stupid as we never flamed, spammed, posted porn or anything against the rules. For me the staff need to be a bit more grown up or learn to control their ban finger. By the way the owners of the site's age on the site say 18 and 20 so unless you've demoted and have nothing to do with the site (therefore cannot really help us) you're lying about your age and as an admin that sets a great example to the site. You say I posted porn and flamed, you are misinformed mate. Now Is it possible both myself and Dec be unbanned and this issue can be dropped, I was abused for explaining Dec says things with the best intentions but they sound the wrong way. As happy as I am you took the time to reply, I am not happy about the false claims when I only ever came to the site if I had something useful, FM related, to share. We realise we were a tad hasty and a bit immautre regarding the banning and the banning reason, but we're looking to put this quickly behind us and hope to move onwards and upwards with the forum. We appreciate forum suggestions, and we do take these seriously, so we really do thank you for your opinion. We apologise that we didn't show this, but it was quite heated and we felt that you were just criticising everything we had and everything we do. Sorry but Jelly has admitted to yourself he was in the wrong yet myself and Dec, who have done nothing wrong, are banned.
