hi, thanks for the mediafire link upload but i think it might be the wrong one u uploaded? because the filefront mirror stated updated to 18/8/10 but when i start a new game i saw some of the older transfers were not there

for eg. kenwyne jones at stoke, craig cathcart at blackpool, christian poulsen at liverpool, mario balotelli at man city etc.

sorry for the rumble but just wanna clear this up cos i really enjoy playing the game with ur update. cheers!

We'll have to see how evertying works out, but he is presenting himself as a sugar daddy that wants to give Vitesse all the financial means to buy what they need to be Dutch champions within 3 years.

How do the kits work with this, I read it has updated kits, is it all within the editor file? Do I need to delete the kits I have in my graphics folder?

Normally you shouldn´t, because database kits and kit pictures aren´t the same.

What I think is done, is this: MG update the standard kitcolors that you see in the game, when no kitpicture is installed.

When there are kitpictures installed, like you have, you won't see the standard kitcolors.

You should be fine with the pictures you have.

I must admit, that I am a bit guessing though.

Perhaps MG can explain what he did, or confirm that I am right / wrong.

That's correct Jorgen. Any kits in your graphics folder will take priority in the match engine and in the team information screen.

Hi - good update.

However - although you've changed the Liverpool chairman, his status is 'loves life at the club' and therefore a Liverpool takeover doesn't happen in the first season.

Any chance this can be changed?

Due to the limitations of the editor, no unfortunately, which is a shame. You might be able to do something with FMRTE, the in-game editor (link in first post of the thread) to change it though.

I've tried in FMRTE - but cannot seem to make the chairman want to sell the club. Researching it, I believe that there is a 'long method' using FMRTE of changing the chairman stats that makes him sell after a couple of seasons.

I will probably just change the chairman myself after the 1st transfer window giving Liverpool a new chairman and wiping the debt. Hiopefully this will at some point down the road trigger the board within the game to decide to move stadium also.

What do you exactly mean? Do you want to know if all players are playing where they should play? Do you want to know where the bargains are?

MG is just trying to make his update as realistic as possible, as most updaters try to do.

No he wants to know what decent players can be picked up on free transfers. I'll be perfectly honest, I'm not sure. Mikael Silvestre? I don't tend to remember specific players, I just edit one and move on.

Ok, when downloaded, place the file in My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2010/editor data. Then start a new game making sure the file is ticked (will say so when you get a choice of which database to use, it's under the drop down menu).
