hmmmm... his batting has been critical at times though, and if you persist with five bowlers, your keeper MUST be pretty handy with the willow.

on keeping alone, i'd drop him, but unless you've got a better keeper who is as capable with the bat...

Here's where they knock the runs out.

So a question, is this really perfect bowling conditions or is this an aussie collapse. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Very good bowling conditions, although today I don't think the Aussie batsmen have been at their best.

it's both. we're trying to force the issue when the conditions clearly aren't conducive to it...

i really hope benaud was right just before lunch when he said that he didn't think the umpires would offer the light if england were batting right now.

So... After Australia are all out, can we expect England to bat defensively to kill time, or do you reckon they'll go for it so as not to disturb their usual rythm? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

if you bat defensively you'll lose. as has been said in here, this test all comes down to how you approach your second innings...

I think a little bit of both, but it's dangerous, as they'll throw everything at us as it's the only way they can win the game by bowling us out quickly and cheaply.
