kieronbrown73
Why don't you try a more obsure league. I had great fun in South Africa.

Cougar2010
Don't sign players you know, use your scouts. Manage in a different nation, there are 90 odd available.
Smurf
If you know all the greatest players and you get bored what team should I manage? How about a team that you don't know in a league that you don't know.
Mike212
But I want to be in a league where I can get into the Uefa Champions league.
Smurf
How about Portugal, France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Malta, Sweden, Finland, Russia? I actually found Holland quite challenging, because any good player is sold under your nose by the board accepting bids of under €10m, so keeping a balanced team was quite difficult and winning the champs league was difficult. Mike212
Fiorentina, Hoffenhiem, WOlfsburg, CSKA Mosckow, Palemero, Lyon, Sunderland. Are any of them a good save or a challenge
Cougar2010
Fiorentina, Hoffenhiem, WOlfsburg, CSKA Mosckow, Palemero, Lyon, Sunderland. Are any of them a good save or a challenge They all seem decent choices at the level you want. You've already managed in Italy & England so you may not want to go with Fiorentina, Palermo or Sunderland. I would imagine CSKA & Lyon would have fairly high domestic expectations so if you don't want as much pressure the German clubs may well be the better pick. I would also consider Dutch or Portugese sides though.
Smurf
I was Mantova in Italy, I think they are league 1 or 2? That was a bit of challenge, got them promoted then eventually into Champs League then eventually won it. Sunderland could probably be a bit of a laugh... Darren Bent and all. I've never played with Hoffenheim or Wolfsburg. But I can't imagine the German league being great in the game. How about picking a team that got knocked out of this years Europa league? All these played the last 32 of the Europa League Bold = country Bold red italics = recommended country/club to start with England Everton Russia Zenit St. Petersburg Belgium Racing Genk Slovenia Maribor England Aston Villa Romania CFR Cluj Greece AEK Athens Belarus BATE Spain Villarreal Romania Dinamo Bucureşti Czech Republic Teplice Estonia Levadia Spain Valencia Portugal Benfica Switzerland Sion Azerbaijan Baku Italy Lazio Portugal Nacional Bulgaria Litex Lovech Kazakhstan Aktobe Italy Genoa Netherlands Heerenveen Czech Republic Slavia Prague Russia Dynamo Moscow France Guingamp Netherlands Ajax Norway Stabæk Netherlands Twente France Toulouse Scotland Heart of Midlothian Serbia Partizan Turkey Sivasspor Germany Werder Bremen Turkey Trabzonspor Slovakia Slovan Bratislava Ukraine Shakhtar DonetskTH Germany Hertha BSC Ukraine Vorskla Poltava Croatia Dinamo Zagreb Czech Republic Sparta Prague (UCL Q3)
IanRx
Why not try some LLM. I've just started a game with Havant and Waterlooville and it's great fun. Spending a little time on transfers and ending up with a 4 /5 star starting 11 is a grand feeling. Just make sure you work on getting full time contracts and a parent club
Deisler26
My favourite FM10 games have been with Empoli, Albacete and AC Ajaccio. All teams that can be built up.
Mike212
Okay, how about Sporting CP or Benfica. They have some bloody amazing players.
Kenco
Try Northern Ireland. It's a low rep league so you can't attract very good players, but you can still enter the Champions League.
Mike212
OKay, I think I'll manage Fiorentina and Sunderland in different saves and maybe CSKA Moscow and Hoffenhiem. Whoever's managed any of these teams, do you think they're a good save?
AB-forever
Maybe try a smaller Ukrainian team. I would imagine it would be hard to keep Dinamo Kiev and especially Shakhtar from winning the title because they have so much more money and repuation than the rest of the league. craigcwwe
How about a team that you don't know in a league that you don't know. This, Often these saves turn out to be your favourites as you have no idea what to expect.
