ajw10
There isn't enough white on the sleeves iirc. I think its great. Got it on order with Adebayor on the back.
LycanGav
I actually considered an AITFK Shrew, keep the faith
ajw10
It was a tough choice betweenn Ade and Gallas. Both super cool, but Ade was the only one who done EAITFK
Slightly Damp Shrew
Not enough white on the sleeves? Really? The only criticism I'll accept is 'not enough lightening bolts'.
ajw10
Heh And yes, that is the main criticism.

ajw10
Is this as well as Nasri Rats? Would take Albiol or Gelson Fernandes as a central mid. Wouldn't say no to Villa or Silva mind.
Ratinho
Albiol a better defender though imo, and would be bought for that position. Definitely couldn't see him starting in midfield. Yep, aswell as Nasri unless Ramsay is going into that first team squad right now.
ajw10
Ha didn't actually mean Albiol FM playing tricks on me again. Yaya Toure is who I meant, although Barca don't wont to sell him.
ajw10
KOLO TOURE has vowed to stay at Arsenal for the rest of his career. The Ivorian ace, 27, has proved himself as one Europe's top defenders since he joined the Gunners in 2002. He is also in line to to replace William Gallas as skipper at the Emirates next season. Toure said: "When I put the shirt on it means a lot of things for me. "I will be so glad to finish my career here. "At the moment everything is going well. "We had a great season and played some fantastic games. "But we went away without any trophies - and that's a big, big thing for us. "The team are still really strong, the club are still really strong and the manager is doing a great job." Kolo, I love you mate but you're never Captain material. His Testimonial will be fb
goon
“The negotiation with Hleb is still in progress and despite him being a player with special qualities, if his club are not ready [to sell him], we have other options in mind,†Barcelona vice-president Marc Ingla said to Catalunya Radio. From those comments it sounds like we dont want to sell him. Please stay Alex, him and Nasri in the same side would be awesome.
ajw10
Hleb and Nasri way too similar tbh. Hleb's gone, he can't do what he did and get away with it, especially when Wenger's involved. Wenger just looking for the right deal before he sanctions it. Plus Hleb clearly doesn't want to stay, so what is the point in keeping him?
Ratinho
Yeah, and we can wonder who he's talking to everytime he's out 'injured'. Awesome. He can foff now thanks. No different to what Cole did, minus the twatty book and actually being an Arsenal fan.
H.O.V.I
Yeah wts about hleb he can go now if the Nasri deal is sorted. Ideally someone with real pace and drive to come in on the other wide midfield position please.
goon
Because Hleb ifb and frankly I'd rather have an unhappy Hleb here than not.
Ratinho
We do tend to hang onto unhappy players. Oh yeah.....laterz Alex.
ajw10
Theo could be that man Hoves? Hleb not important enough for that goon. In fact I would say only Cesc is that important and even then I wouldn't feel comfortable with him playing for Arsenal. Its over and I couldn't care less.
H.O.V.I
Theo could be that man Hoves? Yeah he could i guess, if it comes down to him vs eboue next season (i pray it doesn't) then walcott should be given a chance to try hold down the starting role. I just want a real wide midfielder with those attributes to be brought as its something i think we miss since pires.
Slightly Damp Shrew
I could definitely care less, but I'm not going to cry about it. Is it just me, or in trying not to jinx anything, did Rats just assume that Nasri is signing? There really will be just me left when he joins Barca. Cluthing at straws I know.
Ratinho
You're f**king delusional tbh. You left Strawsville about 7 stops back. Haven't assumed anything about Nasri. He's a work in progress until he's on Arsenal.com. Which will be several months after he actually signs ofc.
ajw10
It isn't what he said, It's what he's done. Actions speaking louder than words and all that.

goon
You'd have to be pretty naive to think players dont consider offers from other clubs, whether in private or over ice cream. Just like Thierry would have talked to Barca, Vieira to Real etc. Both who ended up staying.
Ratinho
You've done a cut job on me. If i've said aswell as Nasri, i've included Turan too technically.
Ratinho
And consider offers? No i'm not that naive. I'm just going to have to let the ones off who don't get caught in the middle of the season lunching in another country with another teams officials.
ajw10
And where are Thierry and Vieira now? Its not that he met with Inter officials, its that he did it so publicly and on the eve of a very important game for us.
ajw10
Have we ever been linked with Turan?
goon
You're both missing my point, not talking about whether Hleb is a tit or not for meeting offcials from another club before a crucial game, I'm saying just because he was ******** enough to do so doesnt automatically mean he's certain to leave, especially since Inter are no longer in for him.
ajw10
Well I would say thats exactly the reason why he's certain to leave. Wenger knows and he's p*ssed.
Slightly Damp Shrew
1 2 Plus a load of other stories in other languages which translate to basically the same story. Again, don't get your hopes up, the story is pretty much reporters remembering Wenger saying he bought his cheque book to the Euros, and randomly picking out players that have played well. Namely David Silva and Turan. No quotes or hints of facts anywhere near them, unfortunately.

ajw10
£15m for Silva you say? I'd go to Austria/Switzerland and get him if thats the case. He's Godly in every sense of the word. Cheers fellas
Slightly Damp Shrew
£25mill for the pair. Don't know why Arsene doesn't just get it sorted before the morning tbh.
ajw10
Well tbf I don't think it would cost much more than that. Valencia in need of money and Turan not going to get that many clubs willing to pay stupid money. Oh wait Newcastle are interested
Ratinho
At those prices i'm considering buying one myself.
Slightly Damp Shrew
Lets do it then. Do we sack off Nasri or get him as well? Probably going to need to guarantee them all first team football, but we don't really need a defensive mid.
ajw10
Get Nasri as well, we don't need to defend with those players
Slightly Damp Shrew
Alright, that's £38mill. £43mill if you include Ramsey. I think we'd better hope that Barca really really want Hleb... :/
Ratinho
After seeing Bert for Brasil right now, we'll not be signing another centre mid.

Ratinho
Not so much good, it was a terrible game with Messi basically providing the only entertainment, but he was energetic and strong, much like he was a few years back.

ajw10
The sheer amount of depth in that article makes me pretty certain we're signing him. And quite clearly a yay

ajw10
The Independent and the Times reporting the Nasri deal as well as the Arshavin interest. Mon it happening, Hleb can really f/off then
Cesc Fabregas the Phenom
I'd be really really REALLY over the moon if we signed Arshavin.
Slightly Damp Shrew
Like I said in the match thread, Arshavin spent the last 10 minutes of the game yesterday playing exactly like Hleb. Sweden had pushed forward and left loads of space, Arshavin managed to miss a one on one about 6 yards away from goal, then do great work down the right, get to the by-line then delay for ages and pull it back to a Swedish defender. He'd suit us perfectly.
