dagoonerfan
Can you pay your clubs debts manually so like could some of your transfer budget be used to pay off the club debt?

phnompenhandy
You don't. You manage the team. The board (mis)manages the debts.
Magnakai Haaskivi
The board maybe should have varying degrees of competancy, though; if I don't spend a large budget, some clubs probably WOULD apply the excess to the debt in real life. It shouldn't always happen, but once in awhile a bigger debt payment could be made that'd help the club.
phnompenhandy
The boards (or chairmen) do have different levels of competency. They have 4 hidden attributes with values from 1-20 - resources, business sense, patience and ambition (IIRC). It's still up to the board, and they sometimes do that. If you don't spend all your transfer budget, some boards will add it next years and others will use it to pay other expenses, possibly including debts. They don't consult you about that, however.
