Lower Leagues Rule Posted October 31, 2008 Share Posted October 31, 2008 Been checking the FM09 min specs and seriously the jump in specs is horrendous, from my Computer being more than comfortable for FM08 to being at or around Min Specs, thats a bit of a joke, so I am going to test the demo, but I may end up not being able to play it properly because of what seems to me to be a stupidly huge jump up the computer ladder just to add 3D graphics. from 1.2GHz 256MB & pretty much no Graphics card to 2Ghz 1GB & 9800 ATI is a little bit over the top I think, but I will see how the demo runs. Lower Leagues Rule Posted October 31, 2008 Share Posted October 31, 2008 Its the minimum spec for the game it says, but I am assuming that is with running 3D graphics, my graphics card will have no problem with the 3D, but by the looks of thing my system will have trouble with it, seems a bit silly. rlipscombe Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 so i have downloaded the strawberry demo and am finding my feet in the French National league, home to my next attempt at this challenge (almost certainly) have taken over at Pacy Football (i kid you not) who are predicted to finish bottom of the league. i felt this would give me the most realistic way to prepare for the challenge. i am doing some scouring of the leagues for good players who will hopefully play for me, and working on tactics in preparation. the standard of the league, in my opinion, is on a par with Serie C1 so that will be ok. i have found that the players willing to play for Pacy are of a good standard and it seems that i will be able to get a pretty good standard of player. i have just finished pre-season so the real fun begins now..... Just a quick update, finished 8th, fairly disappointing season, started poorlyt and had an excellent mid season and a bad end. Will post screenies tonight if I can, but need some new players !!
