Aside from the fact that players have played in these positions in real life and some players are versatile enough to do so, you also didn't warn people about this before they entered their dream team. I wanted a dream team selecting that stated GK, RB, LB ... The game is on FM10 ... Why would I need to warn people that Wayne Rooney shouldn't be picked on the left wing? Users returning to this one should at least have been wary in this respect. Andy is in charge here so I have to stick with these stats: Pressure of S. Given: 15 Professionalism of V. Corluka: 16 Adaptability of G. Bale: 15 Ambition of R. Ferdinand: 17 Loyalty of L. Modric: 18 Temperament of S. Nasri: 14 Controversy of S. Gerrard: 13 Sportsmanship of C. Tevez: 14 Pretty happy with the outcome to be honest. I had a feeling it would be something like that, but didn't go as far as picking the players for good mental stats, although I did make a point of not picking those who I knew would have relatively bad mental stats (e.g. Lennon). You have already selected your manager’s name, age and nationality so I now need to know more about him. There are two things I want you to do: 1. You have 120 points to spend on your manager’s person data. Each person attribute must be a minimum of 1 and cannot exceed 20. There are 9 attributes that you can spend the 120 points on. They are: Adaptability, Ambition, Controversy, Determination, Loyalty, Pressure, Professionalism, Sportsmanship, Temperament 2. There are 31 attributes to be assigned to managers. They are: TACTICAL ATTRIUTES: Attacking, Depth, Directness, Flamboyancy, Flexibility, Free Roles, Marking, Offside, Pressing, Sitting Back, Tactical Focus, Tempo, Use of Playmaker, Width. NON-PLAYING ATTRIBUTES: Buying Players, Hardness of Training, Judging Player Ability, Judging Player Potential, Discipline, Man Management, Mind Games, Motivating, Squad Rotation, Working with Youths. COACHING ATTRIBUTES: Attack Coaching, Defence Coaching, Fitness Coaching, Goalkeeper Coaching, Mentality Coaching, Tactical Coaching, Technique Coaching. Will we be assigned a club and have our players there or start unemployed or what? To be fair, I haven't told the others yet so I will give a bit of an indication. Your roles are as I sent in the PM ... Different stages and seasons means different things and I haven't completely decided on the exact stuff that will happen yet. First up will be auditions: You will be randomly assigned a group of players and it will be your job to look at their person data, persuasive articles and attributes selected (that they are PM'ing me now) and choose eight of them. These eight will go with you to Boot Camp. The rest will be out at the first stage. However, one of you will be assigned Sirus Lannock so will only be able to choose seven for Boot Camp - after all, he is the reigning champion and we have to have him in there. That will leave us with 32 players for Boot Camp: You will get to choose a BSP side each and thats where your manager will start Season 1. I will create the 32 players in the database and your manager will be joined by your chosen 8 (or 7 plus Sirus) and I will play an FM season. At the end of the season, I will post their profiles and give updates on the season and you will then be able to decide on 6 players to take into the Live Shows (or 5 plus Sirus if you have him with you). The rest will be out. That leaves 24 players heading into the Live Shows: This is the stage where I haven't quite decided exactly what is happening yet. Each Live Show consists of a season of FM and in most seasons, it will be the managers job to decide on the team that you and your players go to. I might put a limit on it: i.e. I might specify a country or a division or a group of clubs. The players who perform worst will be in danger of elimination and you will be voting, as they do on X-Factor, for which player you want to vote out. There will also be a CSE vote but the long and the short of it will be that two players will be eliminated each time until we have four players left. Then we will have the FMX-Factor Final. There will be special themes for each season that give a nod to the original X-Factor show with a musical theme. See FMX1 for more on those but they return in FMX3. At the moment, I have thought of one - 'Take That' season where 'Everything Changes' and the aim will be to seal a transfer to a high reputation club in the January Transfer Window. I probably haven't got time if I'm honest!!!! Seriously, the ideas have kind of escalated from FMX1 (awww, bless it - my first sign-up) and turned into this. I have to repeat that I may need understanding from time to time as my job often gets in the way. Anyway, I'm off now. Keep the PM's coming folks. Will be back on tomorrow evening.
