Stevenhp1987 Posted December 20, 2009 Share Posted December 20, 2009 The best way I've found of doing it: Grab a pen and paper and work your way back from the final ie. final 2 teams 1 match semi 4 teams 2 matches... quarter. 8 teams 4 matches ... 16 teams 8 matches 32 teams 16 matches 64 teams, 32 matches = say you wanted teams in this round, so you want to add say 44 teams so you need 64-44 = 20 teams from previous round so... 40 teams, 20 matches 80 teams, 40 matches etc. etc. and figure out how many teams you need to add at each round. Stevenhp1987 Posted December 20, 2009 Share Posted December 20, 2009 If you used the same competitions & the same amount of teams everywhere... Then add the cup, doesn't matter how many teams at the moment, just select prem only. Then... Once cup is added. Save. Close editor. Open the XML in notepad Go to the FA Cup (if using same FA Cup competition) and look for : <string id="use_game_rules" value="not_in_game"/> and change "not_in_game" to "active_comp" and it will take all the rules of the normal FA Cup that's hardcoded. You can then reload the XML in the editor to continue editing, you can't edit the FA cup from here though. Good luck. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
