Great looking skin Mark .. but i was wondering if you could upload it to another host as megaupload never seems to work for me :( Thanks :)

Yeah sure, i have uploaded it to File Front too (link is in the first post)

Great skin. I was looking to use my stadiums from the last version on this one. I like the opacity. How can we change the players atribute colors?

If you go into vitreous/settings/vitreous settings.xml find the following and change the values to whatever colours you would like

<colour name="low attribute" red="255" green="0" blue="0" alpha="150"/>

<colour name="normal attribute" red="255" green="175" blue="0" alpha="150"/>

<colour name="good attribute" red="255" green="255" blue="0" alpha="150"/>

<colour name="excellent attribute" red="0" green="255" blue="0" alpha="150"/>

I was going to go with something in-keeping with the skin but the attributes were the first things I changed and I just like the traffic light system (red to green - bad to good)

Damn, I just read in your WIP thread that you can only use a static bakground picture in the game and you can't enable team specific backgrounds until SI will release a patch to adress this issue.

Yeah it's very annoying but hopefully it should be fixed soon

I like this mate.

I'll be giving it a whirl when I get home from work. The only thing I will change is the background (I like to use a background of the stadium of the team I'm playing as) and the font (I change the font on all the FM skins I use).

Very nice mate, really good work.

You don't need two threads (especially when the WIP thread is so small). When it comes to release please just edit the OP of the WIP to include a download link then PM one of us skinning mods (myself or michealtmurrayuk) to change the thread title.

Normally I'd close this but it's established now and Rb has closed the other thread but bear it in mind for next time.

Backgrounds are kind of redundant then. Theres little point in having them til SI release this fix.

I like the background and making it visible means users of my skin can choose their own background until the dynamic background issue is fixed

This is very good, please may I ask how you got the six boxes on the main screen and the two on the player profile screen to be as light as they are (stand out from the picture behind). Many thanks and well done on your hard work!

Those boxes are how the standard ones come out after I changed the background

You don't need two threads ..... Normally I'd close this but it's established now and Rb has closed the other thread but bear it in mind for next time.

Yeah sorry I will remember that for next time

Mark, fantastic skin, the only thing I'd like to be able to change are the players attribute colours. Bare in mind I have absolutely no idea of how to do skins etc I was just wondering if you could give me the code to put in that would make the attributes look like this

9 or below - Red

10 - 15 Orange

16 or above - Green

Would be greatly appreciated

Just thinking about it mate I think this code would make it 10 and below red, 11 - 15 orange. Would there need to be a slight change in the code to make it

9 or below - Red

10 - 15 Orange

Sorry to be a pain!

how come I dont have these icons in title panel? Is patched the game and nothing... is it skin-based, or game-based, if you understand

if you right click the title bar you can add the short cuts you would like

open a notepad and copy this code into it.....

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<panel>

 <layout class="arrange_vertical_attachment" alignment="top" offset="0" gap="0"/>
 <layout class="stick_to_sides_attachment" alignment="all" inset="0" layout_children="true"/>

 <!-- attribute colouring -->
 <integer id="exca" value="15" />  <!-- excellent threshold -->
 <integer id="excn" value="10" />  <!-- normal threshold -->
 <integer id="excl" value="5" />  <!-- low threshold -->

 <container class="group_box">
   <layout class="arrange_horizontal_attachment" alignment="fill" offset="0" gap="10"/>
   <layout class="stick_to_sides_attachment" alignment="vertical" layout_children="true" inset="0" />

save it as player attributes panel.xml and put this file in the panels folder of the Vitreous skin

that should do it

EDIT: It works. I have just put it in mine now.

Can you use stadium backgrounds in this skin? Ex; Like when you go to Liverpool team page Anfield is the background. Old trafford at Man Utd team page and so on.

You can edit the 'default' background picture to one of your choosing but that is all. For me this is a major breakthrough, all that grey was getting depressing.

I can't see the background either it is still greyed out, everything else works fine tho.

How I fixed this was to go to my FM10 graphics folder and remove the backgrounds folder which I'd transferred from FM09. Not sure why, but removing this folder cured the problem for me completely.

Worked perfectly mate, only other thing that would finish it off for me is if i could make the continue in the top right where it is normally defaulted to and just in the colour scheme of the rest of your panels at the top?

Mark any idea on how I can just make the background for the club badges not show for this skin? Perfect otherwise.

if you go into titlebar.xml then find and delete

    <!-- Add background Main logo -->
   <widget class="picture" id="lftB" auto_size="all">

     <layout class="stick_to_sides_attachment" alignment="top" inset="0"/>
     <layout class="stick_to_sides_attachment" alignment="left" inset="-5"/>

     <!-- set main 'background' logo -->
     <attachment class="get_global_attachment" get_property="mbpc" set_property="file" skip_if_null="false"/>

     <!-- tells the picture to listen for the 'main picture needs recolouring' property and sets its own 'should recolour' property from it -->
     <attachment class="get_global_attachment" get_property="mbrc" set_property="srec" skip_if_null="false"/>

     <!-- the background, foreground and outline colours of the object we use for recolouring the default main picture if there is one, and it should be recoloured -->
     <attachment class="get_global_attachment" get_property="bkcl" set_property="rrep"/>
     <attachment class="get_global_attachment" get_property="fcol" set_property="grep"/>
     <attachment class="get_global_attachment" get_property="ocol" set_property="brep"/>

   </widget>

Great skin!! just two things you might be able to tell me how to change!

1. when looking at a computer managed squad there picked players positions are quite hard to see! any idea how i can change that?

2. on the player ratings screen in a match, substitutes names are quite hard to see any idea how to change those colours as well??

other than that its a brilliant skin thanks for all the hard work to get it out so soon!!

Good I'm glad you like it mate

Have you tried V2 yet?

Yer I've got V2 aswell also a quality skin, I prefer your first one though probably the best skin for FM10 I've seen so far.

That worked for me with taking out the background for the club badges, however they still show behind the badges on matchdays, is there something else I need to delete to not show these?
