Team Talks vs Touchline Instructions

Recommended Posts

I recently played a game where I was 2-0 down by half-time and playing terribly.

I selected 'I want to see more from you' and started the second half. I still continued to be battered, then about the 65th minute, I changed my touchline instructions from 'Control' and 'Retain Possession' to 'Overload' 'Pump Ball Into Box' 'Get Ball Forward' 'Shoot On Sight' and 'Take More Risks'

We came back to win 3-2 in the 90th min.

Now, is this a result of the team-talk? the instructions? the other team getting tired?

Usually I would say the team talk, but the amount of time it took to actually pull one back, says no.

Here's the PKM http://rapidshare.com/files/300653969/AlbinoLeffe_v_Empoli.pkm.html

Can anyone shed light on this?

probably a combination of all but mainly i'd say the "overload" .. it's pretty much all out attacking and if the other team is defending a 2-0 lead then it's one way, unless the other team has talented players to counter attack you then you're screwed.
