baker.simon Posted October 30, 2009 Share Posted October 30, 2009 Hi all, I have had a quick flick through the forums to try to find the answer but i couldn't see it, and if it has been covered then i apologise as ive just got in from my night shift. Basically, i purchased through Steam this year and when i go to launch FM i get this error message:- Football Manager 2010 10.1.0f84847 has stopped working Any help to solve this would be appreciated Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

bcooper Posted October 30, 2009 Share Posted October 30, 2009 If you've tried verifying the integrity of the cache, maybe try the other fix that is solving some problems, which is uninstalling through STEAM, then reinstalling. Details: After Launching via Steam I get an error message saying "football manager 2010 10.1.0f84847 has stopped working" or the game fails to Launch The most common fix for the game failing to launch is that you need to verify your skin cache. To do so, right click on the FM icon and then select properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache. Then you should update your DirectX, download and install from the following link: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en This should solve the issue. Let us know if it works for you.
