shanyi
Looked like Scott Sinclair had another great game. How Ben-Haim gets anywhere near a Chelsea shirt is still a mystery.

He's not the greatest passer and doesnt break up the play as well as Maka, not saying many people do mind.
Chapman
Sidwell was clearly signed just for January as cover for The African Nation's, he was free and the best option available for what we got him for, cant see him being here next year. There was a reason Arsene Wenger let him go in the first place, he's average, he can have the occasional very good game but no chance of getting anything consistent. Ratinho
Bollox no doubt but fun nonetheless, especially when we're being dire. Drogba 'disgust' at Chelsea moveChelsea striker Didier Drogba's relationship with the club is set to be further tested after comments he has made about his move to Stamford Bridge. Drogba, 29, joined Chelsea from Marseille for £24m in July 2004. And, in a DVD about him released in France, he said: "I was disgusted. I realised that signing for Chelsea was disgusting. It's hard to explain." Drogba recently backtracked on saying he wanted to leave Chelsea, who have declined to respond to the DVD. Drogba added: "It's hard to understand because most of all, people see the financial side, or even the sporting side. But I simply wasn't happy." It is unclear when the DVD - entitled 'The Incredible Destiny of Didier Drogba' - was recorded. 606: DEBATE Discuss this story But Ivory Coast international Drogba talks candidly about not wanting to make the move to England from Marseille. "I said to myself 'I couldn't give a damn' (that Marseille have accepted a bid)," he said. "Maybe that's going to shock supporters of Chelsea, but I didn't want to leave. "I even did some things that were almost absurd, in order not to go to Chelsea, such as during the medical. "Going to the hospital in Paris, I was praying they would find a problem with my knee, or a problem with anything so the move would collapse." Chelsea parted company with Jose Mourinho as manager earlier this season and prompted Drogba to question his future at the club in an interview with France Football magazine. He said: "I want to leave Chelsea. Something is broken with Chelsea. The damage is big in the dressing room." But he later issued an apology and stated: "I am a Chelsea player and will be 100% committed and supportive to my manager, my team-mates and the club. "I will not be discussing my future any further until I meet privately with the club at the end of the season."

Administrators Philip Rolfe Posted November 3, 2007 Author Administrators Share Posted November 3, 2007 Away games are awesome, even if trains suck and it wasn't as good as last year. Strolled it, basically down into first gear after 2-0 and very rarely worried by a poor Wigan team. Only a couple of their players even look like Premiership players. Disagree with SWP as MotM, I'm going for Ricky, he was simply sublime in everything he did. Mikel was excellent as well. Malouda was terrible, awful work rate, exemplified late on when Mikel broke out looking for an option and outsprinted Malouda, who couldn't be arsed. And a word for Frank Lampard. Back end of last season he was an obvious passenger, and I was one of his critics, for form, not for anything else. Six weeks without him this season and we were a shambles. With him, 7 goals, 4 assists in 10 games, games in which Chelsea are unbeaten. He's playing out of his skin, and is back at the very top of his game, awesomeness. Ignoring the Didier stuff, it seems out of context, he was devastated to leave Marseille, wherever he was going. I could and might grab enough quotes to balance the reporting in Didi and Chelsea's favour.
Helarxe
So, given what's been shown so far. Daniel Alves would have been very expensive, there is no knowing how well he would have adjusted to Chelsea's playing style/English football, and he would already arrive a superstar, with all associated ego problems. Belletti on the other hand is performing better than he used to at Barça, wasn't so expensive and has been putting in a lot of effort to prove himself. The question for the supporters: would you still have rather got Dani Alves, for whatever amount Sevilla was asking back then?
Poyplemonkeys
Malouda was terrible, awful work rate, exemplified late on when Mikel broke out looking for an option and outsprinted Malouda, who couldn't be arsed. Noticed that a few times recently. He's lazy and pulls out of tackles. Absolutely no commitment to the team imo.
beffrey
Say my brother and I got Guild Wars. Could we play online together with the same copy? I played the 10-day free trial of Wow, but never paid anything. Can't see how they justify the £9 especially with having to pay extra for the add-on packs. Rediciulously addictive but I found it hard to escape the pointlessness of it all. The missions were ridiculously ****. Go and kill 25 of these and come back to me and I'll give you some money. Oh, great you've done that. Now go and kill 35 of these and bring me back their corpses so I can make a stew. You can have some too if you're lucky. No thanks. beffrey
Delete that please Phillip. Makes me look like a right geek in the coolest thread on here. And that's despite Cav bringing it down a few notches.
Poyplemonkeys
I play warcraft. Tend to play it in patches though, like get into it for a few months, then not play it for a few months. It's a lot more fun on p2p servers because if you see some random enemy running around you can kill them. A lot more fun fighting human controlled things. Herman Bloom
Someone was asking for updates on the Chelsea lads at our club, so here you are. Mancienne is immense, but you know that because I keep coming in here asking can we keep him. Sahar gone very odd. Rumours his mother is an interfering old hag who has given the lad ideas far above his station. Seems to be very short of fitness, initially I put that down to the appendicitis he had, but that was months ago now. Either way, he ain't making our 16 at the moment and as we are now undefeated in six and scoring, not sure if that will change anytime soon. Which is a shame, as the fans loved him pre-season. Two goals against Fulham basically elevates you to God status.
