Once again tactically inept when the going gets a little bit tough. Bringing Alex on ffs. What the **** was that? Tottenham literally hadn't troubled us at all except from set pieces and then Grant just says here, come on to us. You can have as much time as you want. Then taking off Joe Cole when Kalou was already off. Where's the outlet? We're under pressure and we need someone wide, someone with a bit of trickery who can keep the ball on his own for a bit, or someone with the pace of Kalou to just run it all the way down the line. Fair enough bring Ballack on for defending set pieces but take PF off because he's a short bastard and stick Essien at right back. Cost us the Carling Cup and probably The Premiership too now. It was like we where Derby and had jusr taken a lead, trail of attacking players and go all defensive, the idiot didnt realise when we did that against them in the Carling Cup they where all over us.
