If you encounter crashes happening seemingly at random whilst playing Football Manager 2017 please bear in mind a crash dump is the generic response for any type of crash – deleting the crash dump file will not help. Instead please try the following troubleshooting techniques in order to try and resolve the issue.
First of all, if you're running any custom graphics/logos/skins or any other add-ons, try removing them for the time-being and see if you encounter the same issue. If it no longer crashes after this, it may be an issue with a specific addition, so we'd recommend slowly adding them back in parts to see if there's one specific thing that causes it. If it still crashes without any additions, please move on to the next suggestion.

If this still hasn’t resolved the issue, the next steps to undertake are to make sure there's not an issue with your graphics card drivers, or if there's a conflicting issue with your Anti-virus.
For your graphics card we'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling your drivers, especially if you've recently update them or completed a Windows Update.
If this still doesn't resolve your issue, then please configure your anti-virus program as shown via the link below.
How to Configure your Anti-Virus to have no problems with FM
Once you’ve done this, re-launch the game and try again.
If it still crashes at exactly the same point, please create a thread on the Football Manager 2017 Technical Issues/Crashes forum with the following information:
The crash dump file (this file can be located at the following default location: C:\Users\[Your Windows Username]\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2017\crash dumps
The save game file just before the issue occurs (this file can be located at the following default location: C:\Users\[Your Windows Username]\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2017\games
What exactly you were doing in game when it crashed, such as processing, during a match or going to a particular in-game screen (this may be a variety of things if the crash is completely random)
Once we have the above information we will be able to look into your issue directly and determine what the cause is. The sooner we can determine the cause; the sooner we will be able to provide further assistance to resolve this issue for you.
