I am having problems with the match engine, even though I have a good laptop. I have tried everything and it keeps happening. Came to the conclusion that what might be causing this is the billboard adds and some guys here have the same opinion. In the worst stadiums or when billboard ads are static there is no lagging problem. This problem is not exclusive on FM 23, in the previous games there were a lot of complains about this and it seems like no one cares to solve this annoyng bug.
