  • Wrong Format for Romanian Cup

    Romanian Cup still has the old format in Football Manager 2023. 

    Starting with the 2022-2023 season, Romanian Cup changed the format as it follows: 

    First Round -> Second Round -> Third Round -> Playoffs -> Group Stage -> Quarterfinals -> Semifinals -> Final

    Unfortunately I can't find any English explanation of this new format to attach.

    Hi,

    We are aware about the new format of Romania Cup, but unfortunately was published too late to have it implemented in FM23 from the begining.

    A ticket with the whole new format will be opened after the game will be official launched. In this way, the coders will have enough time and resources to implement it before the Winter Update.

    Hello,

     

    Adding to this thread. The Romanian Cup format has changed but it is still wrong. The seeding system is not working correctly (there are groups only with low tier teams and groups only with high tier teams). Also there are all 6 matches booked, only 3 of them should be (based on the new UCL, UEL, UECL format).
