  • Game won't start when I press play in Steam

    I have just purchased FM 2023 through steam and I went to press play in it goes to launch, the play button changes to stop and then nothing happens and the button returns to the start button. Do I need to do something extra to access the beta and make it work in steam?

    May I ask, if you are playing on PC or Mac? You might need to check your system requirements to see if you can play the game. Or update your operating system. Thank you.

    PC running Windows 11.

    System specs are: 

    • CPU: i7-10750H 
    • GPU - GTX 2060
    • RAM - 32GB 

    I am currently reinstalling the game to see if that helps. If that does not work I will check if the OS has an update.

    Is there anything else apart from installing the game I need to do to run the beta?

    Reinstall did not help and I checked for updates but I am on the latest version of my OS. The only other reasons I can think of it not working is my anti-virus being SentinelOne or the fact the drive it is installed on is Bitlocker encrypted
